Soggiorno spettacolare.... La casa uno splendore con grandi spazi e vista mozzafiato... poco distante dalle spiagge più belle del sud della Corsica. La signora Teresa un ottima padrona di casa. Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!!! Grazieee!!!!!
We - a family of two adults, two kids and an elderly grandmother - spent almost three weeks end of June / beginning of July at Mr. Quilici's property, lodging most of the time at "Les Cistes" villa and only a shorter stay at "Les Arbousier". We loved it! Both properties are totally private and quiet. "Les Arbousiers" is a bungalow perched upon the sea, with a truly stunning seaview and a very beautiful terrace - but the (short, in truth) path to the sea was a bit too steep for the granmother, so Ms. Quilici kindly upgraded us into "Les Cistes". "Les Cistes" is an elegant, large and well-equipped seafront villa with just everything we longed for: a vast terrace with a sea view and grilling facilities, pleasant and generous garden grounds and a 2-minutes-short path leading to a wildly romantic, solitary and totally clean small beach with pink sand, interesting rock formations and shadow-spending trees. We found the sea crystal-clear, calm and warm, perfect for snorkelling (lots of sea life) and children's playing (no jellyfish). We were amazed by Ms. Quilici's solitary paradise immersed in the Mediterranean nature and recharged completely, snorkelling, reading and sunbathing. On the few occasions when we needed help, Ms. Quilici was easy to reach, very friendly and effective. We were also pleased with the larger surroundings. For socialites and very small children seeking a Caribbean feeling, long white sandy beaches with amenities are within a 10-minutes car ride. Equally easy to reach are a few shops, including quality groceries and swimming gear. We also enjoyed day trips to Ajaccio (30 minutes by ferry boat from nearby Porticcio) and to prehistoric sites (requiring longer car rides though).
In conclusion, we were 100% happy with our stay.
On a side note: when we left, we moved on to Porto Vecchio, which we found overrun with people, overpriced and all in all much less attractive.
