An honest review..
You’ll love the beach, the house though - needs some repairs, maintenance, and a better cleaning crew. First off the upstairs railing is very dangerous. It’s loose, and has large glass panels that shake back and forth in the wind, and if you lean on it, you’re going to fall off the balcony onto the glass, so watch your kids and don’t let them upstairs. It’s also right over the entry door.
The linen on the beds all smelled pretty bad, so we ended up only sleeping on the beds 1 night, then slept on the couch, then the 3rd night just went home because we only live about 10 miles away. My kids refused to sleep on the beds because of the smell, and we agreed.
The photos of the place aren’t accurate, the living room doesn’t have that furniture in it. The bathroom for some reason smelled like a barn, we couldn’t figure it out.
The positives were that it’s right on the sand, they provided plenty of towels and beach equipment, and plenty of kitchen equipment to be able to cook. You also have tons of places to eat all around. The price was just really expensive for what you’re getting and the owner didn’t care to respond to a single concern.
As previously mentioned, the owners love upstairs so if you park by the garage (only place to park when it’s busy) you’re going to be shuffling the car around. Not a huge deal, but again for what you’re paying it’s annoying. I would say for $250-$500 a night you’re getting your moneys worth. Anything more, you’re going to feel cheated.
