Originariamente una casa colonica del 16 ° secolo, Villa Seccarille si trova nella tenuta di famiglia di oltre 60 ettari di campi e boschi, sulle pendici più basse delle montagne dell'Appennino. La villa offre una vista mozzafiato sulle montagne circostanti in questa zona selvaggia della Toscana e regala una sensazione unica di libertà e privacy.

Nel 2018 i proprietari intrapresero una ristrutturazione completa. Nuovissima cucina moderna, 5 lussuose camere da letto, 5 bagni moderni, splendidi marmi verde smeraldo, grandi finestre con vista sui giardini e sulle montagne. Molto adatto alle famiglie con Family Room e Family Bathroom, Media Room, culle, seggioloni, ping pong, trampolino da 3 metri affondato ecc.

La struttura può ospitare fino a 11 persone e comprende una grande piscina privata, un rigoglioso giardino tropicale, un campo da tennis e un campo da basket. La famiglia ha oliveti, dove si produce il proprio olio d'oliva, e la villa è circondata da una flora rigogliosa, tra cui viti d'uva e kiwi e alberi di fico.

La villa dispone di 5.000 piedi quadrati disposti su due livelli ed ha tante terrazze, che offre una vasta scelta di soggiorno e zona pranzo. In aggiunta vi è wireless, TV satellitare abbonamento e un area di intrattenimento completamente attrezzata.

Ci sono una vasta selezione di villaggi storici e città da visitare nella zona, tra cui Caprese Michelangelo, la città natale di Michelangelo.

Like a Dream Come True!

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Seccarille for holiday this summer and absolutely loved every minute. The villa is beautifully appointed and cared for lovingly. Our children had the time of their lives exploring the property, swimming and making up games on the trampoline - it's very kid friendly! Jeremy, the villa caretaker, is wonderful and has a ton of local knowledge. We enjoyed days trips to Cortona, Arezzo, Sansepolcro, Caprese Michelangelo and Anghiari. We really liked that the towns surrounding the villa were not overrun with tourists. It felt like we were locals by the end of our stay! We also made our way through the suggestions (activities and restaurants) in the villa guestbook and were not disappointed. A highlight of our trip was taking a cooking class just up the hill at Osteria Locanda del Viandante with Santina & Luigi. We also loved the children's fairs every Wednesday night in Anghiari - once in a lifetime experiences and memories we will cherish forever. It truly felt like a dream to listen to music, cook a meal and break bread with our friends at Villa Seccarille. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you must - it is a gorgeous and comfortable place to call home (and the views are spectacular). We cannot wait to return in the future!

Beautiful Villa in idyllic Tuscan Hills

We have just returned from a perfect 3 week holiday in Seccarille, and would happily have stayed longer. The villa had just been renovated, so combined the beauty of an old Tuscan house with fantastic modern touches: air con, beautiful bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen with 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers (perfect for those massive lunches on the terrace!) and bifold doors to open the whole place up. The owners have decorated it beautifully, with great style. The villa is on a hill, so even on the hottest days there’s a breeze. It’s close enough to the town that shopping isn’t a mission, but far enough away for perfect peace. It’s well placed to explore Tuscany/Umbria but if you don’t fancy trudging around a hot town, it’s a great spot to do nothing! We travelled with a mixed group, adults and Children 7-15. There was loads to keep them occupied: massive pool, tennis, table tennis, basketball. Not to mention loads of room to roam. If you are a committed cyclist, there are plenty of places to practice for the Giro d’Italia but be prepared for hills! The owners were great with communication prior to departure and a local caretaker is there to help as much or as little as you like. There are an exhaustive quantity of restaurants in the area, but the welcome pack and Jeremy (the caretaker) point you in the right direction. We’ve stayed in a number of Italian villas over the years, but I have to say Seccarille was perfect. I plan to return!

Stunning views, great facilities and in a beautiful location

We had a superb holiday at Seccarille. The villa is in a beautiful part of north Tuscany with breathtaking views across the forested hills. The villa has a large pool, which everyone loved, with beautiful, immaculately-kept terraces and garden around it. We also made daily use of the villa's tennis court, one of Seccarille's big attractions. Lunches and dinners on the villa's first floor terrace were always magical. Kitchen facilities are great and the villa has everything you need. A gardener keeps everything looking perfect and Jeremy, the friendly local manager, deals with any problems or questions instantly. The bedrooms/bathrooms are a touch dated, but we spent so little time indoors that it did not really matter. Showers are high-pressure, which we thought was the most important thing. There are fantastic walking trails through the hills and it is only a short drive to Anghiari, a delightful walled Tuscan city which has very good restaurants. A perfect all-round holiday. We have rented many villas in Tuscany over the years and this is one we definitely want to go back to. Mark W

Beautiful, unique villa

The Villa Secarrille was huge, beautifully furnished and equipped and set in a magnificent location looking down the valley. The pool was enormous and child-safe without any ugly, obvious fencing. Basketball court. tennis court, table tennis, sunken trampoline ... We loved it and will definitely consider going back

A beautiful spacious villa with incredible views

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in this beautiful villa. It is very spacious and the grounds are stunning. There's plenty to keep the children amused with tennis, basketball, a large swimming pool and well equipped media room.The villa has a brand new fully equipped kitchen for those that like to cook and a fabulous terrace to dine on. The bedrooms are all very comfortable with plenty of space for storage. While this villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday just sitting by the pool, it is also well situated for trips to local villages and towns, as well as day trips to Florence and Siena. There is a fantastic restaurant walking distance away, and plenty of places to eat around a 15min drive away in the beautiful Anghiari. Jeremy, who manages the property, was really helpful and easy to contact, and the villa spotlessly clean. We also had good customer service from the owners, who replied quickly to email queries and refunded our security deposit within a few days of arriving home. Overall this is an amazing villa which I have no hesitation in recommending. I hope we get to back someday.
