My wife and I stayed 5 nights, arriving at the bus station at 1 PM, then walking 500 NE to Eurotours agency Porec for check in. A nice lady copied our passports, told us about the free parking pass used across the street, then confirmed the apartment location on the map. We walked 600 m SW to Obala Maršala Tita 3, located across the Blue Taxi Boat Dock with a statue of a woman and child directly in front of the Riva Porec apartment.
Apartment (marked “Boscolo” on the door) was completely tiled with 2 bedrooms. We closed the twin bedroom and only occupied the firm queen and used its closet. There were 2 nightstands and a dresser. The spacious kitchen was fully outfitted with dishes, utensils and cookware, convection oven and countertop stove (needed instructions to turn it on) but no microwave as listed. Living room had a nice TV (fixed on the 3rd day by a technician-BBC/CNN/SKY) and a bathroom with shower. Nice small patio with 2 chairs, small table and drying rack overlooking the yard and active street to the water beyond.
There are some negatives here; No handbook to begin our stay: we happened to notice the card in the utensil drawer that is needed to unlock the trash and recycle bins, no microwave as listed and the TV was not working. The parking is actually 600 m from the apartment rather than 200 m as stated in the description. The agents were quick to answer our emails, providing directions to use the stove top and to get a TV repairman.
This nicely renovated apartment has a nice promenade-harbor view, good secure WIFI and was quiet at night. Overall, positioned midway between the old town and the Spar supermarket with the excellent Pizzeria La Riva next door made this a good choice for visiting this historic port city.
