VISTA FANTASTICA dalla parte superiore (terzo) del piano sul lungomare sull'Intercoastal Waterway. Guarda uccelli selvatici, delfini, lamantino e barche da un balcone molto privato (non vedi, e non sei visto, da altre unità). Garage privato, piscina, silenzioso, grill, tranquillità, adatto alle famiglie, cucina competitiva, lavatrice / asciugatrice.

Le migliori viste sull'acqua e le comodità hanno fatto sì che i nostri ospiti tornassero al nostro Gulf Retreat 1 (Elenco VRBO 43893). Ora c'è Gulf Retreat 2! La stessa planimetria, i servizi e gli appuntamenti di lusso del nostro Gulf Retreat 1. Soprattutto, le stesse favolose VISTE, e solo a pochi metri di distanza, nella stessa associazione condominiale.

Quindici (15) miglia di ampia sabbia bianca, mai affollata, la spiaggia è di facile accesso dall'altra parte della strada, ideale per passeggiate, jogging, escursioni, mountain bike, pesca e tramonti. Ottima posizione sulla bellissima Sand Key Island a metà strada tra Clearwater e St. Spiagge di Pete. Molo privato per la pesca con panca sull'Intercoastal Waterway.

Spaziosi 1400 piedi quadrati con soffitti a volta, design open space, ampia camera da letto principale che si affaccia sul canale navigabile Intercoastal e si apre sul balcone. Tranquillo, solo quattro unità in costruzione. Deluxe completamente arredato in stile "Key West" con letto king size nella camera da letto principale, due letti singoli nella camera degli ospiti con materassi di qualità superiore, divano letto queen-size, garage privato per auto con apri remoti.

Lavatrice / asciugatrice nell'unità. Frigorifero con distributore di ghiaccio / acqua. Piscina riscaldata per motivi.

Attractive Beach Condo - Unexpected Shortcomings

The condo overall was very spacious, lots of closets & storage, nice furnishings, comfortable Master Bed & close to the beach. The Master had a full-wall window bringing in the view. Though there was a nice balcony overlooking the Intracoastal, it could not be utilized as workman in a boat blasted a boombox Mon-Fri. We spoke with the Dredging Co. on site who informed us they had been there the prior 2 wks & would continue for at least another 2 wks. The noise was deafening. Though the condo was outfitted very comfortably, there was a lot of deferred maintenance thru-out. The front door was poorly aligned & would not stay closed unless the deadbolt was engaged. The icemaker worked sporadically. There was peeling paint/drywall dropping from the ceiling in the Guest Bath with the shower vent almost clogged shut with dirt/dust. The wall behind the bed in the Master had blood smudged from bugs that were killed. A fake plant in the Master was covered in a thick build-up of dirt/dust. The Master WIC ceiling had signs of mildew/mold. The kitchen floor mats were very old, dirty & stained. The stained kitchen towels were in need of replacement. There were no screens on the sliding doors & the tracks could use cleaning/oiling to eliminate the loud noise when used. A deep cleaning of the premises including baseboards, windows, interior door jams plus touch-up paint where walls, doors & baseboards have scuff marks would make a big difference. Otherwise, the condo has a very good vibe.

We loved Indian shores!

We had an amazing time during our stay! My family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our time at the property. We loved seeing the dolphins from the balcony, and the beach equipment was so handy for our short walks to the beach. The location is perfect. A small store right next door was very convenient. And we utilized the trolley to spend a day in John’s pass. I would love to make this a yearly destination

Isabel is from Spain and we met while I lived and worked there for ten years. During our years there we enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and especially staying in the quaint Bed and Breakfasts that are so typical there. We made notes of all of the things we liked and disliked about everywhere we stayed and planned to one day have somewhere unique and cozy of our own to offer to vacationers.

In 2000 work brought us to St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2004 we purchased a condo in Indian Shores, just a few miles from our home. We decorated it with nothing but the best (Isabel is an Interior Decorator and has her own business). As guests began to know us and word began to get around we soon had a steady flow of visitors and a full calendar. Just repeat visitors were nearly keeping the unit booked. In 2008 we decided to buy a second unit, with the exact same floor plan and the same extraordinary views, just a few steps away. We call them our Gulf Retreat 1 and Gulf Retreat 2.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We love Indian Shores because it is the quietest, most relaxed part of Sand Key, the barrier island that runs along the Gulf shore from St. Pete Beach to Clearwater. It is the narrowest part of the Sand Key, only 150-200 yards across where we are located. That means you can enjoy both the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico only a few steps apart.

Indian Shores is the last part of the coastline in Pinellas County that preserves a small-town feel. Gulf Blvd. is still just a two-lane road and the speed limit is 35 m.p.h. There's is only one traffic light in Indian Shores. There isn't as much asphalt as you see to the south or north of us, a lot fewer high-rise buildings and none of the tourist traps. While you will find all the restaurants and conveniences you need near-by Indian Shores is still primarily a residential, family-oriented community.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our view is of the Intercoastal Waterway, the body of water that separates Sand Key from the mainland. We love it because of all the boat traffic - it's fun to watch. The dolphins are always a joy to see, too. They are most active early in the morning or at sunset. Manatee are a little harder to spot, but are always around, too.

When the tide is low there is a sandbar that emerges from the water just off our balcony. The seabirds all come to feed there and it's wonderful entertainment.

And the Intracoastal Waterway is beautiful to behold at night, when the lights from the boats and other properties reflect off the surface. You must see it to appreciate it!

And of course the beach is just across the street. It takes just a couple of minutes to get there walking. It's never crowded and always relaxing. We have beach toys, inflatables, beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler... everything you need except a good book and suntan lotion! And we even have a handy cart to put everything in and wheel it across the street!
