This new apartment is situated in the heart of Trastevere in Piazza della Malva. It offers its guests the maximum comfort in the Eternal City. It is the ideal accommodation for those wishing to indulge in the charm of Ancient Popular Rome, the area actually, is still dominated by beautiful cobbled streets, hidden squares, historic buildings, restaurants, cafes, craft shops and small boutiques.

The neighborhood is full of life, day and night and this makes of Trastevere the ideal destination for those who are seeking the true soul of the city, in addition to the monuments. Actually, Trastevere is still one of the most loved area of the city by the Romans as well as tourists who are visiting the Eternal City.

The apartment has been recently renovated and it consists of two beautiful, wide and bright double bedrooms with possibility of extra bed on request, anteroom with a sofa bed, a nice living room with sofa, tv and extendable table, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathrooms with shower.

The apartment is equipped with every comfort including air conditioning, heating, internet wifi, washing/dryer machine, dishwasher, toaster, oven and microwave oven, kettle, Moka for Italian espresso coffee, fridge with freezer, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, bed linen and towels.

The apartment is very quiet due to soundproof windows and due to the fact that it is located on the third floor (with elevator) of a typical ancient building.

Nearby there are supermarkets, restaurants, taverns, bars and pubs. The main tourist attractions can be reached on foot or by public transport, which is also at your fingertips.
There are several bus / tram stops (walking distance) to reach other parts of the city.

Better Suited for Younger

My family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed at a couple of Rome VRBOs and this one fell short for us. The neighborhood is better suited for younger or without kids. The host sends a very detailed pdf file explaining everything, but in a foreign city it was overwhelming. Compared to other places we stayed at on this trip, it had the bare minimums. Overall it isn’t a horrible VRBO, it just wasn’t for us.

Casa Malvarosa is in the heart of Trastevere, surrounded by lively piazzas and streets. My friends and I ate at several great restaurants just a stone's throw away (one amazing one literally outside the door). Small grocery stores with local food and drink are abundant in the area. The apartment was close to many sights by foot and a major bus stop as well. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The three of us centered ourselves around a large dining room table next to the kitchen but easily could have set up nice seating area around the tv, had we spent more time in the apartment. Because of the constant activity outside and unseasonably warm weather (a good thing) during our stay, it was a bit noisy at night with the windows open, but we adapted. The communication was excellent and straightforward during our stay. I'd love to visit Trastevere and stay here again with my family!

The best location you could ask for.

Absolutely loved this spot. The 3 separate sleeping areas were perfect for my wife and I and 2 grown children. Very convenient storage locker right next door to the apartment to check-in and get keys. Great communication leading up to our stay. There were fantastic restaurants and nightlife just outside our door and it's steps away from the pedestrian bridge to head towards Rome city center. A balcony would have been cool but we didn't really miss it or want to hang in the room much. So happy we chose Trestavere neighborhood and lucked into finding this apartment. I think if you require absolute silence, then other spots might suit better, but we would not have picked anywhere different and I can only hope to return there again.

Brilliant location in the heart of Trastevere!

The apartment is just as the pictures on the website. The car service from the airport was definitely worthwhile. Check in was easy, communication with the managers excellent. The apartment was very comfortable, beds super comfy, bedrooms are a good size. Perfect apartment for 5 nights in Rome. Kitchen/dining/lounge small, but worked perfectly. Enjoyed being in walking distance to restaurants and all the major tourist sites. The Campo di Fiori food market is just across the bridge and has amazing local produce. I would recommend this apartment for 2 couples, or 1 couple/child.
