The villa is located in the hill, at 600 meters above sea level, at the bottom of Mount Etna, just 20 minutes by the sea and 20 minutes by the mountains and the attractions offered by Europe’s tallest active volcano.
It is surrounded by a big garden and it is provided with an ample and furnished terrace, where it is possible to have lunch in the open air, and it is provided with a parking lot and a garage.
It is located in a quiet zone, in the center of the lovely Trecastagni, at just few minutes walk to bars, restaurants, markets, pharmacy, banks, and the excursion center.
The house is cool in summer and it’s the perfect spot to relax after a day spent in the crystalline waters of the gorgeous Ionian Sea and from which you can visit the archaeological beauties and landscapes of Eastern Sicily (Taormina, Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Piazza Armerina, etc.) within a day’s time.
You can enjoy sand beaches (Catania’s Playa), rocky beaches (the coastline from Aci Castello to Stazzo), and gravel beaches (Taormina).
Trecastagni is home to the distinctive Sant’Alfio Feast that takes place from the 1st to the 17th of May and its celebrations includes, among the others, the parade of the typical Sicilian carts (carretti siciliani), firework shows, and the magical walk of the “nori”.
2018 UPDATE: the villa is equipped with a television.
