Spacious apartment in perfect location to explore all that Florence offers
Loa action location location
Spacious rooms , close to everything I wanted to see . Very clean - . Hard bed was the only problem for us
Well situated and confortable
We spent three nights here as part of a 20 day discovery of Italy. It was a confortable, elegant and well equipped suite steps from good restaurants and food shops. Enjoyed sipping Prosecco on the terrace. From here we walked to all the great museums and sights. We would certainly come back.
Cleanliness need to be improved!
First let me say that the location was great. You can walk to everything that you want to see in the city. However, the apartment was really dirty. The floors were not swept and needed to be moped, there were months of dust on everything. I found what seemed to be cat hair in the sink in the bathroom. The porch is a great feature but it was so filthy that we didn’t use it. The shower is super tiny and there is no place to put any of your soap or shampoo inside the shower with you. This place could be awesome but unfortunately it fell short because it was so dirty.
We couldn’t have dreamed of a better location. At the foot of the Ponte Vecchio. A large terrace with a stand up view of the Arno.
We had a lot of rain, otherwise we have have been on the terrace every evening sipping wine and enjoying appetizers. The surrounding neighborhood on our side of the bridge held great shopping and dining, away from the maddening crowds. But a short walk over the bridge placed us smack dab into the middle of the city with all the beautiful art and architecture around us.
A short walk to Boboli Gardens on our side of the Arno is a must see.
The apartment was well equipped, great kitchen with a large dining table . Newer appliances and a great supply of dish and glass ware.
The bed was a bit too firm/hard for me. The towels were a bit old, mismatched, although they were sufficient. It would have been nice to have a few throw pillows on the couch as well.
Overall, this property was great, I would recommend staying here. It might be wise to ask for a down mattress cover if a very firm bed is not for you.
Ben collegato a tutti i mezzi pubblici.
