Scenic Skyland Drive and the Appalachian Trail access north/south are 7 miles from the house. Golf, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, hiking and fishing are available in the area. The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is the eastern boundary of the property. Numerous golf courses are close by. Luray Caverns and antique car museum is 20 miles. Numerous wineries are located in the valley area for wine tasting and touring.
