Hydrangea House NJ è di proprietà e gestito con orgoglio da Marybeth Robb. Nel momento in cui entri in questa casa immacolata e ben arredata, saprai di essere in spiaggia. Dall'arredamento confortevole all'enorme portico avvolgente, alla doccia esterna, tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno per una vacanza al mare completamente rilassante è a tua disposizione.

o BEACH LOCKER - contiene 6 sedie e ombrellone. Anche se siamo a soli quattro isolati dalla spiaggia, l'armadietto è la differenza tra una passeggiata spensierata verso la spiaggia e una carica di accessori. Sappiamo. Non abbiamo sempre avuto un armadietto. Ora che lo facciamo, non ci arrenderemo mai!

o QUATTRO PASS DI SPIAGGIA inclusi-- perché ci piace arrivare in spiaggia non appena arriviamo, dato che supponiamo che lo facciate anche voi. ($ 252 VALORE.)

o TELI MARE forniti - chi vuole portare quelli in vacanza? Tutta la biancheria e gli asciugamani da bagno inclusi. (E siamo orgogliosi di asciugamani e lenzuola di alta qualità. Tutto 100% cotone ... morbido e confortevole.)

o DOCCIA ESTERNA - privata e aperta al cielo blu. Acqua calda e fredda - sbarazzati della sabbia della spiaggia ed emergi rinfrescato per la tua serata sulla veranda o in città. E la nostra doccia si collega al bagno al primo piano: quanto è conveniente?

o LEZIONI DI SURF - Troverai Summertime Surf situato alla fine della nostra strada. Surf per bambini, weekend di donne, surf per tutti. Se possiamo aiutarti a connetterti con Summertime Surf, faccelo sapere.

o PASSEGGIATE OVUNQUE - okay, devi fare quel viaggio obbligatorio verso Wegman's, ma dopo quello, puoi parcheggiare la tua macchina e non spostarla per il resto della settimana se vuoi. A piedi dalla spiaggia, a piedi in città, a piedi da Asbury Park (via boardwalk o PA Ave e oltre il ponte pedonale), a piedi da Bradley Beach. La libertà!

o GIOCHI DI BEACH HOUSE - ne abbiamo un armadio pieno. Puzzle, Connect Four, Candy Land, Life. Lo chiami.

o PRANZO ALL'APERTO - perché non c'è niente come sedersi sul portico spazioso di Ocean Grove, cenare e guardare il mondo che passa. Anche il caffè del mattino è buono lì.

o LETTI COMODI, divani e sedie - perché a noi stessi piacciono i comodi imbottiti, i nostri mobili provengono da Mitchell Gold, Crate and Barrel e Shiffman. E usiamo lenzuola di cotone Pima 100% incredibilmente comode di LLBean, nominate le migliori lenzuola da una rivista di consumo leader.

o BEACH LOCKER! Abbiamo menzionato questo villeggiante?

Basta portare uno spazzolino da denti e un costume da bagno!

Nota: le nostre tariffe sono "tutto compreso". Nessun addebito per la normale pulizia. (NJ Taxes e il costo del servizio VRBO sono separati dalla nostra tariffa di noleggio.)

A molti ospiti della nostra casa piace noleggiare biciclette al negozio di ferramenta Ocean Grove sulla Main Avenue a Ocean Grove. Il terreno pianeggiante della zona rende la guida facile per persone di tutte le età.

1. L'ospite responsabile dovrà riesaminare, completare e firmare un contratto di locazione e il certificato di ispezione del comune di Nettuno quando prenotano la nostra casa. Entro 24 ore dalla prenotazione, questi documenti devono essere scansionati e rispediti via e-mail, insieme a una copia della patente di guida dell'ospite responsabile.
2. L'uso della casa e della proprietà è limitato a otto persone. Siamo spiacenti, non consentiamo ospiti extra: otto persone sono le più alte in loco (casa, veranda e proprietà) in qualsiasi momento.
3. Chiediamo ai nostri ospiti di non ascoltare musica sulla veranda in qualsiasi momento. Ore tranquille sotto il portico tra le 22:00 e le 09:00. Chiediamo anche ai nostri ospiti di astenersi dal "far saltare" la musica in casa in qualsiasi momento.
4. Non consentiamo feste, ricevimenti, matrimoni, cene di prova, balli ecc. Nei locali.
5. Spiacente, niente animali.
6. Non fumare in casa o sotto il portico.
7. Tutti gli ospiti adulti devono avere almeno 28 anni.

Great beach week

We had a great time at the house. It is conveniently located to the beach and shops of Ocean Grove and close enough to Asbury Park if you want to walk there. A big bonus is the beach locker with chairs and umbrella. We also loved the porch and being able to eat out there. Marybeth is a great host and easy to to communicate with if needed. Would definitely come back again!

Charming & Fun

Stayed for a weekend. House was great. Met all of our needs and well accommodated. The outdoor shower is a must!!! The vintage range/oven is super cool too. The neighborhood in Ocean Grove was beautiful with lots Victorian-inspired homes. Access to beach and boardwalk was fantastic. Asbury Park was also a gem! Would definitely stay again.

The sweetest of family times...

Marybeth was an absolute pleasure to work with and the house was super charming and incredibly well-located (beach, Main Ave, street parking, Asbury Park, Bradley Beach & points south, etc.). And if I could rate the porch separately, I'd give it 6 out of 5! What a lovely family vacation, the last week in August seemed a smidge slower than earlier in the month/season and was the perfect time. This traditionally Ocean City, NJ family now views Ocean Grove as another amazing Shore experience. Thank you so much, Marybeth, trusting us with your home.

Great location, great host!

The house is perfect for a family vacation down at the Grove. Easy walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants at Asbury. Marybeth was incredibly helpful with sharing all of the going on in town and is gracious enough to share her locker full of beach chairs that make the trip so stress free. Highly recommend.

Good location but NOT worth it

I would advise anyone who is considering this property to look elsewhere. Marybeth has many rules and is very particular about this property which made it difficult to feel like my group and I could relax on vacation. From the moment you rent the property you are given paperwork (essentially a lease) and a book of rules to sign and drivers licenses are required from every person. Marybeth also called me to “interview” me over the phone before agreeing to rent her property. This should have been the first red flag but I assumed she was just being thorough. Once you arrive at the property there are rules and signs everywhere that say what you can and cannot do. I consider my group to be a responsible, professional group of 30+ year olds who are mature. We’ve rented numerous vacation houses together and have never once had an issue or have had a security deposit taken from us. I feel that because of our age and because we are not a “multigenerational family” we are being discriminated against and wrongfully charged for damages that we did not do. Marybeth has refused to refund our entire security deposit accusing us of damages that were there before our stay. The house and fixtures are old and I believe we are being wrongfully accused of breaking things that are just old. Additionally, she has tried to “bill” us for things like her time, additional cleaning, and rearranging things in the kitchen that were moved around when these things are typically standard in a home rental. For the price we paid for the long weekend I feel like it’s outrageous to charge additional for things like that. She does require you to do laundry as well and who wants to do that on vacation when you’re paying to stay somewhere? My group and I were extra diligent to leave the house exactly how we found it and I truly believe we are being discriminated against because we are not older or a family. I don’t think someone who is paranoid like Marybeth should be renting their home. I have an ongoing investigation on this with VRBO and expect to get my full deposit once they realize what Marybeth is trying to do. I will say the location is great and the town is lovely but none of that was worth what I am going through now.

The owner of the Hydrangea House NJ in Ocean Grove, Marybeth Robb, has a long history with Ocean Grove...My Nana brought me with her to Ocean Grove for a vacation when I was a young teenager. That week in the the Grove made a big impression on me. Much later, when I was an adult, I learned that whenever my grandmother could put together the funds, she would spend a week in Ocean Grove and bring one of her grandchildren. She loved Ocean Grove right down to the tips of her very Catholic toes. (The hotel in which we stayed, the Grand Atlantic, is now a retirement home for Catholic nuns. Nana would like that.)

In 2004, now with my own young children in tow, we bought our home on Broadway. From the very beginning, even in the midst of multi-year restoration projects, our family and friends gathered here, relaxed and deeply enjoyed each others' company. This house, with its bright, welcoming spaces, provided places for groups to talk, play games, tell stories. And other spaces, to read quietly or take a nap. Low on technology, but high on relaxing atmosphere, we developed a treasure trove of great memories with friends and family.

Now that my kids are older and doing other things in the summer, we want to share our experience with others. Come to the Hydrangea House NJ. Relax. Reconnect. Renew.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

The proximity to the beach is the real draw. You can swim , boogie board and surf. If you don't know how to surf, SummertimeSurf has a school located right at the end of our street. Like SUP? Take lessons or rent from SummertimeSurf in Bradley Beach on the Shark River inlet, just a 5 minute drive away.

And did we mention our beach locker?

Also, Ocean Grove is not your normal shore vacation town. It is a retreat and the influence of the Camp Meeting is palpable. For kids, the Camp Meeting provides activities every single day, and because the town has sidewalks everywhere, even the young kids can walk themselves to and from activities. In fact, we often get the reaction from kids who visit from their suburban towns that they "feel so free" in Ocean Grove. If one craves more action, Asbury is just a walk to the north with great shopping, dining, and nightlife.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

First, the beautiful Ocean Grove beach is just a 5 minute walk away. And we provide a BEACH LOCKER stocked with chairs and umbrellas. Why lug that stuff back and forth when you can walk, carefree, swinging only your beach towel?

In 2003, we fell in love with the beautiful, but non-working original wood windows in this home. The windows let in such an abundance of light that every other place we saw seemed dark. In 2006 we renovated all the first floor windows, and 2018 all the original second floor windows, retaining all their unique glass, and re-roping them so even the largest sash now opens with one-hand operation, as they were originally intended. When opened a few inches on the top and the bottom, these old beauties provide natural cooling. Okay, it's not like modern a/c, but for most days of the summer, it is delightful to live in a place graced with ocean breezes.
