Perché hai deciso di affittare questa proprietà?
I'm attached to this property for 'heart reasons'. Here my in-laws have worked hard in the past to live off the land, I remember that they were proud to collect them. The oil obtained from these olive grove is of great quality and has a unique taste. I'm in love whit this unspoiled countryside: a paradise. I wanted to realize this place to contemplate and enjoy such beauty and to offer it.

Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Assolutamente consigliata
Wondrous house with unique location: isolated though easy to reach and to drive around to visit the centre of Italy. We enjoyed our holidays so much! Thank you Mario for your kindness.
Had un unbelievable holiday, fantastic location, comfortable, many places to visit in the surroundings, all services nearby, although isolated and intimate!. I recommend it!.
Located in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, villa Tilla offers the possibility to relax and at the same time to take advantage of its strategic location, visiting some of the most important cities of Umbria: Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco, Orvieto
The villa has been recently built, with great taste and sense of aesthetic. impressive sensation of cleanliness and brightness. It is an intimate setting and the ideal place for vacation, family and friends reunions, private meetings or wedding celebrations. Within its 23 hectares of private property mainly with olive tress, it is a space that you are able to adapt to your needs, whether this be an exclusive group booking, or a private bed and breakfast getaway. In the property there is a 10 minutes walk pathway.
I'll certainly come again!
Little bit of paradise
We stayed at Villa Mari for 2weeks. We are a family of 15 and we rented four of Mario’s 7 apartments. It worked especially well for us as it gave us our own space yet we were still able to eat and socialise together. The apartments were all ready for us when we arrived. It was very late but Mario and his lovely daughter Francesca waited for us until after midnight to settle us in. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If we needed anything or questions answered then Mario sorted/answered straight away. Each apartment has its own front patio and garden/bbq area. Also tables and chairs plus sun loungers to relax on. The pool area was big enough for all of us plus the other guests staying there. The view and surrounding area is breathtaking so don’t forget your camera. Quite rural so very tranquil. Also central for places to visit though. We caught a train to Rome, a tram to Florence and drove to Assisi, Pisa and Pompei. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will certainly be back in the future. Thank you Mario and Francesca, Debbie & family
Dear Debbie & family,
you were fantastic guests, always smiling, kind and very polite!. We have admired your way of being and living the holiday. We were impressed with the order in which you left the house. You are wonderful people and we await to seeing you again soon! MArio & Francesca
Despite its position, deep in the Umbrian countryside at 450mts of altitude, the house is easily accessible
Once you leave the motorway, the road leads up to the house which offers breath-taking 360° views. The villa is easy to reach and nearby a farm, converted into a restaurant, which is about 4kms distance. It is only 3kms from the picturesque little village - Pozzo- where you can find a little supermarket and shop.
Rome is just over an hour away and you can reach either Todi or Spoleto in half an hour. Perugia is just an hour away, another half hour to Assisi.
There are numerous places of interest in the vicinity for culture enthusiasts.
Villamari has an extremely strategic location for lovers of nature and culture: art, history, traditions, Umbrian and Italian food and wine are represented at most in this area. In fact, it stands right in the centre of the region, connected with the major tourist routes, close to the main roads and close to the airport of Umbria. The more distant centres -Gubbio, Orvieto, the Trasimeno Lake- are at just 60 minutes drive; at 50 min drive you find the region’s capital, Perugia, with its marvellous historic centre; then Assisi, pearl of art in Umbria and Christianity, with the Basilica of Saint Francis which is visited every day by hundreds of tourists from all around the world, the fact of hosting the tomb of St. Francis of Assisi, and where you can admire the frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue; Spello, charming village perched on the hill where there is the famous 'floral display'. Less than 30 minutes drive you reach Montefalco, famous for Sagrantino wines and beautiful wineries to visit in the surrounding area; Bevagna, Roman and medieval gem, home to the famous Mercato delle Gaite; Trevi, poetically perched on a hill.
Villa Tilla is inserted in a territory rich in medieval castles, which still contains the sign: from your apartment, looking at the horizon, you will recognize the characteristic battlements of medieval castles.
