Our trulli houses were built in about 1780. Originally they were the country houses of the farmers who used them also as tool sheds and barns for the cattle. They have been renovated in accordance with the traditional rules; local builders called ‘trullari’ have worked to recreate the original structure. The trulli houses are situated close the town of Ceglie Messapica. The landscape that surrounds the trulli houses is a rare beauty: from here you can admire a green valley of olive-trees. The wonderful geographical position makes this place the perfect starting-point for those who want to do some trekking or make relaxing naturalistic, cultural or enogastronomical trips. The Adriatic Coast and its wonderful beaches are only 11 miles away.
The Trulli house named ULIVO has still the authentic charm of the old country houses and is perfect to sleep 4/6 people.
Formed by three cones, the middle one is the highest and biggest one and the other two are smaller; in one of them (the main room) there’s a queen bed (in the same position as it was originally) and in the other one there’s a fire place; from here, going three steps down there’s a well furnished kitchenette that looks out on a large patio with cabana and grill; further to the main room there are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other one with bunk beds), a bathroom with shower and bidet.
Private swimming pool.
