For several years my family has worked with a humanitarian foundation supporting tribal schools with over 1,000 poor, abandoned, under-served, and stateless residential school children in Chiangmai and Maehongson province, Thailand near the Myanmar (Burma) border. Originally from Bangkok Thailand, I love it here in downtown LA as a second home away from home. Bangkok's original name in native Thai is called 'KrungThep'. It has the same meaning as Los Angeles - the 'City of Angels'. LA also shares a similar crazy traffic style (as in Bangkok), and has many wonderful Thai restaurants. I return to Thailand every year with friends and family for humanitarian projects so this loft is decorated with a taste of Thai spirit. I enjoy bringing back memories of the good deeds from the trips to share with fellow travelers. I am happy to share my 'Thai flare' décor with all of my guests, and hope you are enjoying your stay here with peace and comfort. Thank you for staying at the LUMA Loft on your LA vacation. Hope to see you back soon. Thank you!
