One Awesome Apartment!!
This apartment is everything advertised and more!! It is clean and the charm of Venice is present. It is close to many of the places you would want and need. The host, Andrea, is available and always kind and helpful. You will be able to enjoy your trip and feel apart of the local atmosphere.
You won’t go wrong staying in this fab apartment. Many extras provided by the host, as in Nespresso machine and coffee!! Treats, WiFi, paper supplies, soap, toaster and much more. The steps are a challenge but look at it as a workout daily. They can be managed, I did it at 78 yrs young.
Excellent central and quiet apartment
Our hosts, who were waiting for us at the vaporetto stop, were most welcoming and helpful. The apartment is extremely clean, well furnished, equipped and maintained, with useful 'extras' such as coffee, sugar, salt and pepper etc. The sofa provides a firm and comfortable bed, and we were able to adjust the heating to suit. The apartment is very conveniently situated close to St Mark's Square and vaporetto stops, but also extremely quiet. The Coop supermarket near the Rialto Bridge is good for stocking up and the Colussi bakery on Calle S Luca is excellent! We found this an ideal base for our stay and would be very happy to recommend it to friends and relatives.
Comfortable, quiet, and convenient
True to its description, this unit is very well maintained and is located in an ideal location in San Marco (a quick walk from the San Marco vaparetto stop). We enjoyed 4 quiet, comfortable nights as the owners guests. Andrea met us as soon as we arrived, and escorted us to the unit. We were so pleased to find the unit furnished everything we could possibly need. Our hosts were also kind enough to check in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Worth noting: this unit is on the top floor so there are a fair amount of steps to access, but this should not be a problem for most.
Great apartment, very close to San Marco Square but quiet and had everything we could need!
My husband and I spent 5 nights at Andrea's lovely apartment. This apartment has all the basics and more: a dining room table with four chairs, couch, fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and coffee maker, washing machine (and laundry detergent), a very comfortable bed, plenty of closet space, toilet paper, paper towels, shower gel, lots of dishes, hand towels, free wifi, etc. It is conveniently located very close to San Marco Square but is set back far enough from the action that it is very quiet. The apartment was very clean as well. One of the main shopping streets is very near, there are a lot of restaurants in the area, and gondoliers are close by. Andrea arranged to have us met at the Alilaguna stop and walked to the apartment which was only a few minutes from the San Marco Giardinetti stop. Communication with Andrea about details was superb and his response time to e-mails was very fast. We highly recommend this apartment, especially if you are visiting Venice for the first time. Be sure to get Andrea to draw you a map of how to get to the apartment from the closest main street, Via XXII Marzo, though. Venice is like a labyrinth, with lots of tiny streets (more like alleys) that only go for a short distance and sometimes have slightly different names than on the maps. Our phone GPS's were often not helpful and in our jet lagged state we had some trouble getting clear about how to get to and from the apartment. Once we figured it out, it was easy but a map would have taken away some of the anxiety. One note: if you have trouble climbing stairs, this is not the apartment for you. Despite our "advanced" ages (when combined, 134 years) they were not a problem for us. It is close to the action and several vaparetto stops, and you'll only have to haul your luggage a short distance when you arrive and depart. We were thrilled to have such a great place to stay during our visit to Venice.
Everything was great! Andrea walked us all the way to the apartment! We felt like in home, very welcomed! Everything was very clean, the apartment was very equipped, we cooked, and everything we needed was there! We are 4 students and we loved it! Very close to everything! Definitely go back again!
Nice, clean and central appartment. Well taken care of by the host.
