Great Location
This apartment is in one of the best locations in Lagos. It’s a 15-minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk into the town centre. It’s nice and clean (apart from a regular supply of little ants!).
The apartment is well kitted out except for the fact that none of the patio furniture in the photos is included. You get a mismatch of a few sun loungers with none of the cushions/mattresses shown. There are no chairs to sit at the table outside either. This is a big shame as it’s a lovely balcony and we would have liked to eat the odd meal out there.
It also turns out to be quite expensive if you want to use the Marina Pool. The significant extra cost of pool passes per week for a family of four pushes up the overall cost a lot. We’ve stayed in about 10 apartments in the Marina area over the last 15 years and this would be by quite a way the most expensive when you add in this cost. All previous apartments have the pool passes included.

The apartment is in a fantastic location a few minutes away from the marina
Große Wohnung,vernünftig eingerichtet aber
die Schlafzimmer ,der Hochparterre Wohnung gehen zu einer Dreispurigen Strasse.Mit geschlossenem Fenster laut,mit offenen Fenster schlafen,geht nicht.
Auf dem nebenstehenden Foto sieht man die schöne Terasse/Balkon mit Liegemöbeln.Leider stand nichts davon im Prospekt,das man sich die Auflagen für die abgewohnten Plastikmöbel von zu Hause mitbringen muss.Dort war nichts vorhanden.
Es wurde aber an Insektenspray gedacht,für die überall vorhandenen Ameisen

Très bel appartement. Très spacieux. Lits fait à l arrivée ....serviettes de bains . Impeccable. Proche du centre. a cote marina. Belle terrasse.

The hottest summer in years according to the weather reports! We had a fab week in Lagos in August 2018, a lovely sea breeze on most days kept the humidity at bay.
The apartment location is spot on, clean, modern and well equipped with every convenience, it's a home from home, the balcony gets sun in the afternoon with views over the backwater area, close enough to be sat at a marina bar bistro table with a cold Sagres gazing at expensive moored yachts in less than 2 minutes, the large Pingo Doce Supermarket is also 2 minutes away, they have everything there but you should see their deli and fresh fish counters, superb!
10 minutes walk via the marina footbridge and you're in the historic Lagos centre with restaurants, shops and bars, buskers and entertainers in the little whitewashed streets.
The Marina Hotel pool area (chargeable) was very busy so we strolled to the local beach (Meia Praia) nearly every day, the breeze meant the surf was up so lots of wave jumping fun, it took us no more than 10 minutes to get there which incidentally passes the new train station.
In my opinion unless you absolutely intend to visit other places around the Algarve (which we've done before and it's great to do) or it's a shorter stay, you really don't need a car, we hired a taxi organized by the Home Away team for airport transfers (around an hour to Faro) which were very nice cars and completely stress free.

wonderful apartment!
Spacious and very clean apartment with everything you could possibly need. Huge balcony (room for 2 loungers, a table and 4 chairs and the clothes drier)overlooking the lagoon and getting the afternoon and evening sun. Location couldn't be better! Short walk in one direction to the big supermarket which stocks absolutely everything, and another short walk the other way to bars and restaurants overlooking the marina. Steps up to the apartment from the road so possibly not suitable for a wheelchair. We had a wonderful stay.
