With its tower dating from 1606, Masseria La Torre is a wonderful example of a traditional farmhouse of Southern Italy. The property has been restored respecting its original shapes and materials, and with all modern facilities included. The main body of the farmhouse and its annexes flow through various courtyards, olive groves and gardens. It is an architectural complex made of different, independent “units”:
1) The Guest House
It is a 150m2 house for 6/8 people. With: 4 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms (one with bath tub; one with separate shower room); a large space with kitchen and lounge.
2) 3 Guest Rooms
Independent double rooms (the entrance is directly from the garden or courtyard), each of approximately 20m2, each with private bathroom (sleeps 6).
3) Lemon House
It has 2 twin bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, outdoor shower and pergola (sleeps 4)
4) a 100m² Kitchen;
5) a 100 m2 Living room with guest bathroom
6) a 100 m2 Lounge with Home theatre, billiard, card table, piano
The original agricultural activity of the farmhouse has been re-established with the production of organic olive oil, wheat, citrus and vegetables. The organic vegetable garden is at the guests full disposal.
