I'm a winemaker and graphic designer living in Rome with my wife Nina from Philadelphia ( US) and my two children, Grace and Massimo.
I like to travel, meet new people and different cultures also taste food from al over the world!
I'm friendly, approachable and passionate about Rome and proud to call it home!
I'm really enjoying sharing my knowledge and experiences of the city through the many wonderful people who've stayed as my guests through Airbnb - what a fantastic concept it is. I take much pleasure in making sure anyone staying with me has a great experience and stay and have a very professional approach in the preparation and presentation of my apartment.
If you've got any questions or need any help while planning your trip to Rome I'd be very happy to lend a helping hand.
Looking forward to hopefully meeting you and welcoming you to Rome!
We needed an economical but comfortable base from which to explore Rome. We got it. The apartment contained everything we needed and we were able to easily walk or catch public transport to all of the important tourist attractions. We particularly enjoyed getting out on the balcony to watch the world go by below us. Alessandro provided details of all the nearby shops we would need - supermarkets, restaurants etc. All combined to make our stay most enjoyable without breaking the bank. Would gladly return.
We wanted something in Old Rome, close to all attractions, the Metro, not a hotel and reasonably priced. This one ticked all our boxes. Apartment living, short walk from major attractions and a minute from the Metro. The stairs can be a challenge if you are not agile or in shape, but not a major detriment. The ambiance of being right on a main street and the proximity to shopping and restaurants made it feel like we were inhabitants of Rome as opposed to tourists. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I, with our 3 year old son, stayed here for several days and enjoyed how centrally located this apartment was. Alessandro was extremely nice (he met us at the apartment and helped me carry one of our large bags all the way to the apartment!) and easily reachable via text during the entire stay. The balcony was a great feature - we also loved watching all of the activity below. It is abundantly clear from all descriptions of the apartment, but the apartment is on the 5th floor (no elevator) - but you will be walking everywhere in Rome, so what's a few more steps to burn off all of that food! A VERY small trade-out for being centrally located in-between the train station, the Fontana di Trevi, and the Spanish Steps - all within a few minutes of each other. Plus, the Barberini Metro stop is about half a block away - such a great value when considering all of these factors! Plus, Alessandro couldn't be nicer, and it was clear that he rents this flat for the sheer pleasure of sharing Rome with travelers!
This was one of the nicest places my husband and I have ever stayed in. The owner Alessandro was absolutely amazing!! He even met us at the main train station and we walked to this stunning apartment. You cannot beat the area!! Safe and within walking distance of so much. If you choose to use the bus or metro, they are both right outside your door. The place is equipped with everything you need. This apartment is on the fifth floor with a stunning views from the balcony, but be advised there is no elevator and you have to climbed about 100 steps to the door………having said that…if you're okay with that you'll LOVE this place!!! Like another reviewer wrote…..we ate guilt free pasta and bread because we burned off the calories by climbing the stairs. Thanks Ale!!! Hope to be back again some day.

I stayed for 9 days at this very charming flat at Tritone Studio Apartments and you can believe it is where I stay when I return again if it is available.
The location cannot be beat. The flat is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and the Forum. The building is situated right next to the Metro and the bus stops right out on the front street. There are terrific restaurants and fresh produce markets nearby, and Alessandro has a great guide book with maps inside to answer any questions you may have.
The flat is on the top floor of a walk up and so I didn't feel so bad eating the pasta and breads. A sweet lanai has a lovely view of the street below as well as the square and the Fountain.
The kitchen has a good sized stove top with two burners and a refrigerator, with any appliance you could need. Hot water (really hot!) is available 24/7.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. There is a washer/dryer and vacuum if you have a long stay.
I really enjoyed it. It felt like "my own".
This is one of the best values and locations you can get in the city. Grocery stores are within blocks, metro across the street, and nearly all of the sites are within walking distance! The apartment is great with a nice size bathroom, great little kitchen area for cooking and cafe, and the terrace is a great spot to sit with a glass of wine while the world below zips by.
Alessandro was at the apartment when we arrived and showed us a few of the spots around the area. Communication was great and he always responded to e-mails quickly. All in all this is on the top of our list of places to stay when we return.
