Absolutely Beautiful Rozengracht Apartment
After trolling through hundreds of different apartments trying to find the perfect accommodation for a short city break over the new year period we finally cam across this gem. couldn't fault a single thing about it. Beautifully decorated, excellent WIFI, cosy little balcony looking out onto the surrounding buildings. Plenty space for your personal effects, clothes, shoes ect. there was a washing machine, dish washer, tumble dryer, iron and board. Honestly it had everything you could possibly want and more. The landlady Christina was very pleasant, polite and prompt at replying to corrisponding emails. This apartment is around a 20 min walk from Amsterdam Central Station and very easy to navigate to, and its pretty central. I couldn't recommend a better apartment and pricing was on par for what you get.
This is a wonderful apartment in every way.
The apartment is very spacious and airy. The furnishings are classy and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. There is ample cleaning supplies and even a washer and drier. The kitchen has a full fridge, stove/ oven and dishwasher. The location is convenient with pubs and restaurants on the same street. The owner is very helpful; she responds very quickly. All in all, a near perfect apartment that I recommend highly
This was a wonderful property in a perfect location. Couldn't ask for anything more. We would definitely stay here again when back in Amsterdam.
Very nice stay in a cosy flat. The location is very central with all comodities nearby.
We did appreciate the convenience of the host waiting us quite late for an arrival. The host let us some treats which was much appreciated.
Beautiful apartment and a great location
Our stay at this apartment was incredibly enjoyable. On our other trips to Amsterdam we have stayed at a hotel near Centraal Station, thinking it was convenient due to the proximity of the transportation. Being that far out we needed to buy a tram pass for our stay just to get around. Deciding to try an apartment this trip was one of the best travel decisions we have ever made. By staying in this apartment, we were able to walk to the vast majority of our destinations, only relying on the trams for the times when time was an issue to get to a reservation. We foolishly ignored the recommendations of other renters by purchasing tram passes anyway and found out how correct they were about the amazing walkability from this rental.
Concerning the rental property itself, it was incredibly comfortable for us. The street-facing living room was large and comfortable and lent itself to good people-watching. The kitchen was modern, very well-appointed and stocked with quality equipment, making food preparation a pleasure. We got a lot of use in the morning out of the Nespresso coffee maker, using the capsules generously provided with the apartment. The king-sized bed was comfortable, with plenty of extra linens and blankets available should they be needed. The bathroom was good with a nice shower and plenty of light. There were even high-quality bath products and other personal hygiene items thoughtfully provided, which came in very handy when my plastic razor snapped. All I had to do was open a drawer and "borrow" one of the ones left for guests. Above all, the place was extremely clean, well-stocked and ready for a great stay. All-in-all, we were very impressed and comfortable with the apartment.
To access the apartment, we navigated up two flights of wide semi-spiral stairs after going through a locked door from the street. The stairs, which were not steep compared to other stairs we've seen in Amsterdam, had carpeted non-skid pads securely attached to prevent and slipping or sliding. There is a grocery store just up the street from the apartment as well as GREAT shopping just blocks away.
Finally, the make or break of any rental can be interactions with the management personnel. All of our experiences were nothing but incredible with them, whether in person or via email. Paini was so nice to us, helping us with our luggage and our messages with Christina were promptly and thoroughly answered. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was perfect for our stay. The stairs weren’t an issue at all for my husband and I. Place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Very close to tram stops as well. We would definitely stay again when we are back in the area!
