'Sunrise – Sunset' has been completely renovated. There is a full kitchen complete with new dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and refrigerator. There are Quartz countertops, all new cabinets and undercabinet lighting to provide a fun environment for those interested in cooking.
The sitting area has a queen-size sofa bed, entertainment center and shuttered windows.
The hallway leading to the bedroom is filled with memorabilia of the Ocean City Beach Patrol and Ocean City Academy. After World War II, Capt. Jack Jernee purchased an old lifesaving station at 36th and Central Avenue in Ocean City and turned it into a summer camp for boys which he named the Ocean City Academy. The purpose of OCA was to teach nautical skills. Several years later, Capt. Jernee and his wife converted the school into a guest home which was called Jernee Manor.
The bedroom has a kingsize bed and a large closet. From the bedroom one can see the Flanders Hotel and ferris wheel at Castaway Cove on the boardwalk. A sliding glass door opens from the bedroom onto a private balcony which is a great place eat to meals or just hang out, relax and read a book.
