Questa bella casa vacanza privata sul lungomare si trova sul 165 + ft del pittoresco lungomare di Gills Rock, Wisconsin. Le finestre dal pavimento al soffitto offrono una vista panoramica sul porto di Hedgehog da cucina, sala da pranzo, soggiorno e camera da letto. I magnifici tramonti che si affacciano su Door Bluff possono essere ammirati dall'interno della casa o dall'ampio lastricato esterno nel cortile sul retro. Il patio è ottimo per intrattenere con un'area privata per grigliate e un pozzo del fuoco.

La spiaggia sul lago offre grandi opportunità di nuoto e divertimento acquatico per gli amanti dell'acqua. C'è anche una vasca idromassaggio situata proprio sulla riva del lago. La struttura si trova a soli due minuti a piedi da un porto turistico. La casa ha un ampio garage a tre posti adiacente utilizzato come sala giochi al piano principale della casa (in comune con un'altra unità) con un facile accesso all'unità. Il concetto di pavimento aperto consente un grande flusso tra il soggiorno, la sala da pranzo e la cucina con bellissime piastrelle e pavimenti in legno e pannelli in legno appositamente importati. La cucina rinnovata ha splendidi ripiani in granito, nuovi elettrodomestici e mobili di classe color ciliegia. Il moderno bagno piastrellato di facile accesso dall'aspetto moderno al piano principale comprende anche una sauna a legna.

Le vecchie travi della camera da letto situate nel soppalco offrono a questa stanza privata molto fascino oltre a splendide viste aggiuntive sul lago.

Great cottage!

I stayed at this cottage with my husband and our dog for four nights. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the setting directly on the water. It's truly a fantastic location and cottage and we're planning to return next year. Access was easy. The cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived. (There was a strong scent of air fresheners when we arrived, but were able to air it out.) There's plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen was fully stocked and great for cooking. The grill area worked well. The bathroom was awesome; large, updated, plenty of hot water. The shower was very comfortable. The heated floors and sauna were such a nice perk. The lake and private beach were viewable from everywhere in the cottage. The view through the huge windows was stunning and exactly what we hoped for. The hammock trees were so enjoyable. The lofted bedroom was spacious and fine for us (both under 6') and includes a stunning view of the lake. The full size bed was comfortable and clean. The stairs up to the loft are steeper/narrower than standard and uncarpeted. We were fine navigating them, as long as we paid attention. Our active, 45# dog struggled with them and needed a spot when he went up and down. Definitely not enough of an issue to skip this cottage, but something to be aware of in case mobility (human or canine) is an issue. Overall, highly recommended!

Great view and amenities!

This is a great quiet and peaceful property with amazing views. Close to so many beautiful hikes and shops... all no more than 30 min at most. Door County in the summer is wonderful but winter is also a must! Many things still open off-season!

Perfect winter getaway!

Cottage is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures, and WOW, the view of the bay is spectacular! We had everything we needed and were so cozy for our winter visit. The hot tub wasn’t available to use (it’s positioned close to the beach and would be too frozen, it’s actually noted on the listing but we missed it before booking), but there were so many other things to do we didn’t mind. There’s a fantastic game room (shared with the other rental unit) with a pool table and a big collection of board games where we spent a lot of time. There’s also a private sauna, inside the unit we stayed in, great for warming up after a winter hike. Bed and couch were both soft and comfy, there are a lot of nice little hangout areas all over the house. The bathroom was also one of the best bathrooms I’ve seen in a vacation rental, with a huuuuge shower! It is worth noting that the stairs to the loft, where both beds are, are very steep and those with mobility issues may struggle. The location is also far north on the peninsula, so prepare to drive plenty. We had a stunning view of the stars at night though and lots of peace and quiet, exactly what we wanted! Recommend checking out Hügel Haus, it’s under 10 minutes drive from the house, and Al Johnson’s in Sister Bay is not too much further than that. Gretel and Dan were great hosts, communication was easy and they were so kind and accommodating! We were sad to go home, can’t wait to come back soon!

Hedgehog Harbor Christmas !

Great getaway for Christmas. LOVED the sauna , was hoping to use the hot tub on the water too, but must only be open in summer - will have to come back to try it! We cooked a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The patio and bonfire pit were awesome. Amazing views- beautiful rocky beach. Our dog loved the yard, beach, and nearby parks !

A cozy and relaxing retreat by the water

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The location is great, and we look forward to coming back when the hot tub is available for use, as we learned it is closed down for the season. It's a charming space and the view cannot be beat! There are skylights in the bedroom and larger living space, so bring a sleep mask if you are light sensitive. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the addition of some blankets on the couch would make it even cozier in cooler weather. We look forward to coming back with friends so that we can share the two adjoining properties and meet up to play pool in the space between both properties.
