Beautiful, in the heart of the city
Wonderful location, easy access to all of the amazing sights of Rome, incredible view right out of the window. Very attentive host.
5 Star over the Trevi Fountain
We can not say enough good things about this fabulous home! Looking over the Trevi Fountain we saw everything Rome has to offer. The Host is wonderful and warm and the location is fabulous! A must stay and we will be back! The air conditioning is a major bonus in the summer!
the apt. was spetacular but the manager was even more so
the apartment was very well equipped and beautiful . Filippo was so very helpful in every way. we enjoyed the entire visit and would not hesitate to return to this apartment.
Amazing Apartment with Great Space and Location
The pictures of this place are amazing, and in person, it is even better. The upstairs area has a great amount of space for an extra child to sleep, or potentially a reading nook. Downstairs there are two great bedrooms, and two bathrooms as well. I think the only dig I would have is that the bathrooms are small, but the fact that we had 2 was amazing, for a family of 5 getting ready in the morning. Wonderful living room and dining room area as well. Not to mention the fact that you are overlooking Trevi Fountain. The kids were pretty excited about that part. Easy walking distance to the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Novena, and not too bad of a walk to the Colosseum, or the Tiber River. Filippo was easy to communicate with, and let us borrow his iron, and ironing board for our family photos. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.
My husband and I visited Rome for a week with two friends of ours; this flat was perfect! Not only did we have plenty of space for four people, but the location was ideal. We were easy walking distance to everything we wanted to visit and were serenaded by the sounds of the fountain whenever we stayed in. If you are a light sleeper, you should know that the piazza stays rowdy pretty late, but for us it was no problem.
The beds were very comfortable and the shower spacious enough for my husband (who is 6'2"). The kitchen was perfect to cook light meals and store plenty of wine :)
Filippo is wonderful to work with and arranged all of our airport transportation for us. The trip could not have been better!
Our family of four (two adults, two kids age 10 & 8) had a fantastic stay with Filippo! We visited in March. Filippo helped arrange an airport pick up for us (which was such a luxury after a long flight). The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed the two small balconies overlooking the fountain immensely! We not only go to watch the tourists, the Instagramers, and newly wed couples all straining to get the perfect pictures - we got to watch the workers "sweep" up all the coins in the fountain early in the a.m. The kids loved that!
The kitchen, complete with Nespresso machine, was just adequate for simple breakfasts (which is all we really used it for). The showers were lovely - never ran out of hot water or water pressure. There was ample space in the two bedrooms to put our things away in the closets. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of bedding if we got cold.
The only two complaints we had were small ones: the pillows were very thin (the kids didn't seem to notice this however), and the crowds from the fountain on a Friday and Saturday night were rather noisy in the front bedroom. The other two sleeping areas didn't seem to be bothered by the noise at all, and to be fair... not much to be done about it. The crowds seemed to dissipate by 1-2 a.m.
It's close to MANY tourist attractions, shopping areas and restaurants. There is a taxi stand just on the corner, and when we used our app to call one we never waited more than 2 minutes.
When it was time to say Arrivederci, Filippo was gracious enough to hold our bags in his apartment (across the hall) until it was time for us to go to the train station.
We had a lovely time in Rome, and were so happy to have this great apartment as our home base during our stay. Grazie mille, Filippo!!
