This is truly a great location, in the Village right across from the Village Gondola. We booked 8 nights for Christmas / New Years. While unpacking, we noticed a dripping sound under the kitchen sink. The water filtration system was leaking, the cabinet floor was so severely damaged it had buckled, there was water everywhere and massive amounts of mold on the rear of the cabinet.
Contacted Marc immediately, turns out he was aware of an issue under the sink but didn't see it fit to let us know beforehand (said he didn't notice mold, when he was there 10 days prior, tried to get a plumber but couldn't due to the holidays). Surprise, he got a plumber to come out within 30min (on Christmas Eve) the plumber managed to shut the filtration system off but couldn't do anything about the mold, said its a major job. He laughed when I said Marc didn't notice the mold 10 days prior, I wish I could post pics here but I don't see where I can? This mold was clearly not new, and has built up over a long period of time. Plumber showed me the texts from Marc re: the issue dating back to November!
We could smell the Mold, I had brought a lot of food to cook, we instead had to eat out as we just didn't feel comfortable spending anytime in the kitchen.
Marc apologized for the inconvenience and said he would like to make it up to us. He has initiated a refund of 5.97% which honestly is a slap in the face, in my opinion. Marc you're better than that.
