Great view/location but needs a lot of TLC

This house has a great view and a convenient location and the management company was extremely responsive and even sent someone out on Thanksgiving day to address our concerns. However, the house needs a lot of work, a deep clean, and a rodent service.

Not satisfied

First the driveway is extremely steep which was not mentioned in the property summary. We didn’t have water for the first 18 hours of our stay. Management was made aware of the concern and there was no follow up by them to see if it came back on or any type of compensation. Only using the water from the jacuzzi to flush toilets while we waited was recommended. After the first night still with no water we figured we would go in the hot tub as a shower alternative and it was cold and had to wait all day for it to heat up. When we finally could go in we noticed how it was in disrepair. Half of the jets didn’t work, writing on the controls was worn and illegible. Also hot tube faces the street and has no privacy. Fireplaces also had faulty wiring making you have to wiggle the wires to the remote boxes to get them to lite. We are not people who complain about things and any one of these issues by themselves wouldn’t be a big deal but to have all of them at once was unacceptable. Bottom line- we would not recommend nor stay at this property again.

Great little hideaway

Outstanding communication with property managing company. Property was secluded with great views and very little traffic around. The road leading up the mountain got a little narrow at some points. Overall the cabin was well maintained and cleaned as well as having a fully stocked kitchen with all items needed for an extended stay. Would definetely stay again.

Fall break

We enjoyed out fall break stay in the cabin. We did need to contact the manager for a service and was handled promptly. We used the main level indoor fireplace and was so nice to gather around. The back porch is very nice and long with comfortable glider chairs and bench. Some of the family also enjoyed the screened in areas of the porches. The ice maker dispenser on the outside of freezer door needed cleaning, so we just got ice from inside the door. The manager said they would def get that cleaned up, which I believe will happen based off the quick solution to our service call the first day. Was beautiful weather, so we were out exploring in town during the days and was so nice to come back to the cabin each evening, watch the sunset and gather around the fire in the den. Thank you for helping us have a great family getaway.

Beautiful Lodge

While we enjoyed all the amenities and the cabin, it wasn’t as clean as it should have been. I bought my own stuff and cleaned the areas that needed it and went on to enjoy our stay. Cleanliness is a must! Still rate the lodge a 4 out of 5
