Poi si gode il soggiorno in Domaquaree con un elegante spazioso appartamento con 2 camere con balcone francese in entrambe le camere, riscaldamento a pavimento in tutto l'appartamento. Compreso un televisore, lettore blu ray, CD, DVD. Dal grande letto matrimoniale 2x2,20 metri (kingsize) si guarda la luna. Il pavimento in appartamento è in legno rovere marrone scuro e gli appartamenti interni è stato progettato con lightartobjects unici.

Area molto sicura, società di sicurezza 24 ore.

Solo 5 minuti a piedi e sei di fronte alla torre della televisione ad Alexanderplatz, al Rotes Rathaus, all'Hackescher Markt, ai tribunali Hackesche, all'Opera di Stato, al Gendarmenmarkt, al Konzerthaus e al palazzo del Principe. 10 minuti a piedi e sei alla Friedrichstrasse, al Checkpoint Charlie, all'Hotel Adlon, al Deutsches Theater, alla Porta di Brandeburgo, alla Sinagoga ebraica, al centro di arti creative di Prenzlauer Berg, all'Opera di Komische, al Reichstag tedesco. Circa. Si trova a 15 minuti a piedi da Potsdamer Platz, dalla Colonna della Vittoria, da Tiergarten e dalla stazione ferroviaria principale. Con la S-Bahn è a soli 10 minuti alla stazione Zoo della ex centro di Berlino Ovest con lo Zoo di Berlino e la Chiesa della Memoria.

Direttamente di fronte alla casa è un molo da cui è possibile esplorare la capitale sulle vie d'acqua (i biglietti direttamente al molo). Sul pavimento, si ha accesso al giardino del cortile e un'altra fontana. Siete nel centro della città e hanno un sonno tranquillo, senza fastidio del traffico, dal momento che nessuna strada è di fronte o accanto alla casa. L'edificio è sul lungomare (fiume) ma non ci sono riverview diretti dalle finestre. La casa è completamente integrato in una zona pedonale. L'edificio ha un parcheggio sotterraneo che si può usare per un costo aggiuntivo. C'è un centro piscina, centro benessere e fitness in un edificio che può essere utilizzato per un costo aggiuntivo.

Ristoranti, caffetterie e centri commerciali sono a soli 3 minuti di distanza.

Superb location! Close to everything! Beautiful !

This was our third trip to Berlin, and by far, the absolute best location! You are close to everything! The Pergamon Museum where you can see a bit of what King Nebuchadnezzar lived like, and the other museums are right next door! You are around the corner from the Hotel Radisson Blu; where we used the concierge services and booked a trip to Sanssouci Palace and Potsdam, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp(our daughter loved this best of all) and even bought our tickets for the Pergamon ahead of time(avoid the lines). You can also buy the hop on/hop off tour bus tickets just outside the Blu Hotel(and we even got a discount).

Tom is an excellent host and communicator. He is available 24/7 and responds right away via phone, text or email. The apartment is beautiful, nice spacious living room, very large bathroom and the heated floors throughout are amazing! The view was beautiful; we loved the large floor to ceiling windows. Make sure to ask the Taxi/Uber driver to drop you off at either the Legoland Sealife or the Subway Restaurant next door, as the apartment is just down a few steps from Subway. And be sure and ask Tom what the apartment # is; we picked up our key from the key service (while the cab driver waited) and then proceeded to the apartment. We found the building, and got inside but then didn't know which floor or apartment to go to. I called Tom, who answered immediately and gave us the information, so it was fine.

We went on to the Black Forest after our stay in Berlin and were going to book our train tickets when Tom suggested we fly instead. Not only was it cheaper to fly, but we made it there in a little over 3 hours instead of 8! So helpful! Thank you, Tom for lovely memories and going out of your way to ensure our stay was perfect!

We received our security deposit back within a week; and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Outstanding Location and very functional apartment

We spent 2 weeks in this apartment and were blown away by the location. You are within walking distance to an amazing collection of museums, concert halls, restaurants, shopping, sights, etc. You also had outstanding access to U-bahn, S-bahn, and Tram to get anywhere else you wanted to go.

There is a great grocery store, Kaufland, that is 5 minutes walk. There is a great gym called SuperFit that is 20 minutes walk but has all the equipment you could imagine (15 Euro for a day pass). Alexanderplatz is 10 minutes walk and has tons of shopping, restaurants, bars.

The apartment its clean and spacious. Double sink in the bathroom and one of the best shower/tubs we have ever used in Europe; the shower head was high, powerful and the glass shield was larger than most. The unit had a very functional kitchen including dishwasher. There is also a wash machine and drying rack.

The internet worked well for the most part. The more devices you use, the slower it goes.

Tom was an excellent manager with a great explanation of the apartment and how to use everything. He was very responsive to questions or issues; we found the kitchen cookware subpar and he replaced it the next day.

As with many apartments in Europe there is no A/C but given that it was October that was not an issue as the windows are huge and open like doors if you want fresh air.

We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, modern building, unsatisfactory payment system

Apartment is in this modern building on the river Spree opposite the Berliner Dom. We were able to walk everywhere and Tom was helpful in getting us settled. What was not clear until we arrived is that the apartment is on the first floor in the rear facing an office building 15 meters away with three different restaurants fifteen feet below that close at 11. There is no view of what is shown in the picture associated with this apartment until we got outside of the building. With the lights on it was a bit like a fish bowl with floor to ceiling windows making the inside of the apartment clearly visible from below and for three stories opposite unless you closed the curtains. We were in Berlin in March so could close the windows which were soundproof. In the summer, with no air conditioning, this could be a problem.

Second big issue was the advertised price. We were required to pay the amount in full when we agreed to take the apartment and, with taxes, a hefty cleaning charge and a 700 euro key deposit it was twice what we had expected from the writeup. So 700 euros (about 1/3 the amount) of our money was tied up for ten weeks for one week of use. Living in North America, we got dinged twice by Visa for the key charge. We left the apartment on March 31 and the credit appeared on our statement on April 8th. Tom needs to change this arrangement to make it more buyer friendly. It is our worst deposit experience in many years of VBRO usage. On this trip, for instance, we stayed also in Prague where the deposit was 15%, the rest payable in cash or credit on arrival. In Paris, it is 50% with the same payment system. There were no additional key or security deposits or cleaning charges. All three places we are staying about a week and were comparable on a quality scale.

While the apartment was very tidy, it could have been cleaner, especially given the hefty cleaning charge.

We are travelling with a car and Tom was very helpful arranging a discount for parking located safely in the building which we appreciated. He was also very helpful directing us to websites for cultural events and tickets. His communication was prompt and addressed our questions as they arose.

Risposta del proprietario: Thanks Michael for your review. I think there is no need to compare with Paris or Prague. You can find in Berlin similar apartments with other conditions and you can find my apartment on other booking websites also with other conditions. There was no other possibility to choose a different payment option because we cancelled another tenant for the same period that Michael could complete his booking. Why should we ask only for 15 or 50% of the rental amount when we loose a full amount from another booking? Its very unfair that Michael are not telling the full story and "providing" to make a change to be more "buyer friendly". I think we were more than buyer friendly to cancel another guest who already ask to extend his stay and giving the possibility for Michael to book. Coming up with these reason in the review is not fair too because this payment option was chosen by Michael when he booked. We never changed it and this was a condition of his booking. There is no possibility to do it in any way better and if somebody is responsible for this payment method than only Michael can be judged because he agreed with these conditions so that we were able to cancel the other guest. That the apartment has no river view is advertised and also no reason for a complain when the guest would have read the description carefully. The advantage is that on the waterside every day hundreds of tourists walking from the main street to all the museums at museum island. Its much more noisy than the apartment which was used by Michael and his wife. To describe it like a fish bowl is the first time happen over the years and can come just from the missing knowledge that the windows are not only sound proved, they have also a sun protection and a visible protection. During the day nobody can look inside the apartment from outside, this is only possible in the night with switched light on (but enough curtains to cover). The offices opposite are empty after 6pm and nobody can see anything what is inside the apartment. German architects in this price range and in the centre of Berlin are not stupid. By the way Michael, the visible protection is not build in on the opposite side where the offices are. Thats the reason that you as guest can look inside the offices but the office people cant look inside the apartment. Better to ask before you judge. Doesnt matter if you book on VRBO or homeaway, both are advertising only the "rental amount" for ALL listings,without booking fees or deposit

Great place in a great location

We were met by Tom upon arrival and he provided us a very detailed description of the apartment and the surrounding area. He is an excellent property manager of an excellent property. We were very happy with our choice the central location was easy to get to from airport. It was easy to walk or use public transportation to all the important sites the city has to offer. The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable we used the kitchen several times and it worked out very well. We look forward to spending our next visit to Berlin in the same apartment.

Luxury in the Heart of Berlin

This was a last minute rental as our Airbnb in Berlin fell through. We loved Berlin and a large part of it was staying in this high ceilinged, spacious, beautiful home for 6 days. What a find! The property is located just across the bridge from Museum Island. It's a modern apt/office building in a modern part of Berlin near the river, with many restaurants, coffee shops and public transport tram and the station at Hackescher Markt very closeby. The apt is as described and the construction/furnishing/decor is of very high quality, new, and clean. The in-floor heating was amazing! Tom was very helpful, working with us, answering our questions promptly and giving very meticulous instructions for our arrival and departure. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The person managing the apartment meant us on arrival showed us around and gave us that a starter supply of some essentials. The place was as advertised very pretty and high-quality. Stayed in the center of town was excellent overall a very good impression
