This apartment of 50 square meters, called CA’ MATILDE, is for 2 people with the possibility of adding a bed in case you want to sleep apart, as well as a possibility for a camp bed for a child. In the context of a small, quiet building, on the second floor without elevator, the apartment is composed of an entrance, a living room with dining area, a newly renovated bathroom with large walk-in shower, a fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher, induction stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, large double bed, heating and air conditioning, and WIFI.
You can also find MOSQUITOS NET on all the windows and a deposit for suitcases on the downstairs level, in case customers want to leave their luggage, to be collected later.
It is located in a super central location, just a few steps from Campo Santo Stefano and Palazzo Grassi, very close to the landing of the vaporetto of San Samuele and Sant'Angelo. If you want to get a private taxi, the landing point is also very close.
The apartment has been restyled and furnished by the owner for personal use, with taste and elegance.
It is equipped with complete bed and bath linen.
In the apartment, smoking is prohibited.

ARRIVAL IN CA' MATILDE
We will pick you up on time on the nearest stop agreed later, if you care to tell us by telephone in time.
If you arrive from the airport, not wanting to make use of a private taxi, you can take the shuttle of the ALILAGUNA ORANGE line which stops at Sant' Angelo, where we will pick you up personally, if you car to tell us in time when you land and when you board the shuttle.
Arriving by train, you can take the public vaporetto’s LINE 1, direction Rialto and you will have to stop at Sant'Angelo.
Otherwise, the most comfortable, all thaw a little less economical, mean of transportation is for you to get yourself a private water taxi that I would be happy to help you organize, if you wish.
Before using public transportation (ACTV vaporetto line), we recommend you consider buying a tourist travel card. Travel cards are the most economical solution for those wanting to get around Venice and its surroundings on the ACTV public transport. They allow unlimited travel and can be used on all public water
and land transport lines, Mestre Urban Network (excluding travel to or from Marco Polo airport) and Lido bus running within the City of Venice.

HEATING: Central heating system is activated in the apartments, according to Italian laws in the province of Venice from October 15th until April 15th. After such date Air Conditioning System is expected from April 15th until October 15th. These decision are executed by the City of VENICE and expected to be followed by every citizen or not.

Check in is from 3 to 7pm not later at the apartment. After 7 pm, check in will be NOT possible unless you will REQUEST it before the booking. If so, we will confirm, IF IN OUR POSSIBILITY, our availability and you will be charge of Euro 50 until and not later midnight. This rules is valid also in case of your delay. This fee will be transacted though Airbnb.

CA' MATILDE is located in a central and lively part of Venice: from the campo Santo Stefano, which is just a few meters from CA' MATILDE, you can arrive to the Accademia Bridge in 8 minutes and in 15 minutes in to Piazza San Marco.
It is very close to Palazzo Grassi, famous throughout the world for the presentation of the major exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, some of which are based on the private collection of Francois Pinault. Palazzo Grassi is the last great palace built before the fall of the Venetian Republic, restored a few years ago by the Architect Tadao Ando, very interesting for those people who love the combination of ancient and modern architecture. Nearby one can find all that is needed: shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, Venetian taverns, famous wine cellars, supermarket, ice cream shops, and pharmacy.
Starting from its location, Salizzada San Samuele, where there are small restaurants, numerous laboratories and jewelry boutiques, antique shops and art galleries as well as the workshop of the artist / wood sculptor Livio De Marchi, famous worldwide for its extraordinary creations, you arrive in a few minutes to camp Santo Stefano. Passing in front of the Church of San Vidal, where there are often concerts with music from the '700, you get to the famous Bridge of the Academy, to its renowned art galleries, to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Zattere and gradually to the whole Sestriere Dorso Duro and Santa Croce, rich with art jewels and architecture.
Picking up Salizzada San Samuele, in a few minutes you arrive at the Gran Teatro La Fenice, and for shopping, in Via XXII Marzo, which is lined with shops and boutiques of the most famous signatures.
Piazza San Marco is a 15 minutes’ walk from there.
