This apartment is perfectly located and updated with all modern necessities of life. Just steps from the Pantheon the apartment is in the middle of everything and easily accommodated 5 adults for the holidays. The owner was very accommodating and welcoming. It is obvious he takes a lot of pride in the apartment as he and his family live in the same building. The apartment is like being welcomed into someones home and is perfectly priced to be affordable.
My husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandkids, Sasha and Jack had a very nice experience staying in one of the Fabbri's apartments on Via del Seminario within sight of the magnificent Pantheon. We could look out our living room windows, down the narrow lane and see the columns of the Pantheon. It was a very convenient location for walking all over historic Rome. Gian Fabbri, our host, was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was comfortable and clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend it to friends or relatives.
I've rented a lot of apartments in Europe, but this place is huge! It's 100 feet from the Pantheon! And it comes with Gian Giacomo! We had a ton of questions before arriving, and we were traveling with older aunts who had some "special needs" once we got there; he handled everything with wit and charm. He responded quickly, even down to a hairdresser appointment in the neighborhood. He knows the Centro Storico like the back of his hand, and his restaurant suggestions were all winners, especially the one just 2 doors down. Overall, we were VERY happy. The place is not luxurious; it's modern and efficient, exactly as described. We were in the 2nd floor apartment, so yes there's a lot of noise from the via del Seminario below, mostly from street sweepers, recycling trucks, and scooters (not a complaint; we wanted accommodations in the Centro and I love that Rome is NOT a calm, quiet city! And that it's kept very clean.) The front bedroom requires earplugs for sleeping but the two back bedrooms were silent. The lift is tiny compared to ours in the States; it handled us and our bags just fine every day as well as our luggage. The house was clean, the water was hot, and GG made sure we were warm (December.) The kitchen is streamlined but all the basics are covered; we cooked breakfast at home every morning, there's no Mr. Coffee but the Biagletti was great for a quick espresso (go for the EXCELLENT caffe nearby at either San Eustachio or Tazza D'Oro, easy groceries at the Coop 2 blocks over, great meats and cheeses at the Antica Salumeria on the piazza, plenty of wine and gelato nearby, and if you're up for an adventure, go hunting for produce and terrific bread at Campo dei Fiori a few blocks southwest.) We washed our clothes and hung them on the rack to dry, the kitchen sink has no hot water, however there's a dishwasher next to it and a great electric kettle. There's a TV in case you get bored (yeah, right!) Personally, I had no problem with the wi-fi; it's not lightning fast but it ain't dial-up. This apartment had everything we needed and more and I'd recommend it! Grazie Gian Giacomo! We all loved our visit!
El apartamento muy céntrico, espacioso, limpio y con vistas al Panteón. Se puede ir a cualquier sitio de interés andando. Los propietarios muy amables y atentos.
This apartment is in a wonderful historic location, so nice to walk by the Pantheon several times a day, but that also means it is tourist heaven. The apartment itself is very spacious but somewhat grim. The photos are a bit misleading. Our four nights were OK; the host was patient as we were late in arriving due to returning a rental car (don't return a rental car to the train station!) and he found us great transportation back to the airport.
We choose this apartment for its location and it didn't disappoint! The Pantheon Piazza was like our backyard and where we ended each day with a glass of wine! The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners are onsite and after a few small corrections by our wonderful host Gian, we had everything we needed for a great week! The cobblestone streets of this neighborhood were quaint with restaurants and bars at every turn. We walked to ALL the major sites since they are all within a mile or so from this apartment. Open the windows to the street and you get the feeling you are part of the community.....the nightly walks fill the air with commotion and excitement! Loved it and would certainly stay here again in the future!
