The whole place was filthy. We had to call them as soon as we arrived because there was (what I think) feces on the inside of the comforter. I washed all of the sheets at that point. We had to put sheets on top of the sofa and chair just sit down. Very dingy all over.
We had an amazing spring break stay in this condo. It was very clean and organized. The price listing was a better value than any other I came across and we had a gorgeous view. My family of five fit comfortable honestly there was room for more. When I originally booked the room I did not see previous reviews and noticed them just days before arrival and got a little worried. When we got there and it was so nice and clean I was relived and felt I needed to leave feedback so other families would not look past this condo. We will be staying here again!!!
I had read the previous review and thought with certainty that the same thing would not happen again. Boy was I wrong! We arrived really late and thankfully we did call the rental company and was given a door code. It was not emailed to me 7 days prior to arriving as I was told it would be, but nonetheless I was able to get a door code so I did not have to go anywhere to pick up a key or what not. Upon arriving we took off our shoes and immediately noticed the floors were full of sand. Our feet were dirty and black just from walking around the condo. We were exhausted and unpacked and climbed into bed...a bed with sand all in it!! I had to wash the sheets at 2:00am because there was no way those sheets had been washed. The shower curtain was covered with mildew. When we unfolded the couch, half eaten chips fell out. There was trash on the balcony. I have never in all my life paid so much money to stay somewhere so filthy. I spent the first day of my vacation cleaning just so it would be livable for the week. That was the very last time my family will stay at Splash. To say we were all disappointed would be such an understatement.
when we arrived the place was filthy. The floors were dirty and the windows had hand prints all over them. The toilet look like it had never been cleaned. The way it read was that the master bedroom had a balcony that was the first big disappointment. I would never stay at splash resort again especially for the price I paid you would think it should have been a mansion!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We ask each guest to advise us if there are any housekeeping issues when they arrive. The guest called the 2nd day and advised that the garbage disposal had a funny odor. An Inspector went to the unit and cleaned and disinfected the disposal.
This guest then called our operations manager at midnight on the 2nd day of their stay because they could not get their television to work. The Operations Manager met the guest at 10 a.m. the next day and fixed an issue with the cable.
At that point, the guest was asked if there were any housekeeping issues that needed to be addressed. The guest advised that they were satisfied with the condition of their condo.
Our goal is always 100% guest satisfaction. We commit to resolving housekeeping and most maintenance issues within 24 hours. If this guest had given us the opportunity we would have resolved any issues they had with the cleanliness of the property.
