The house is located in Ortigia's island (Syracuse's historic center). This old house, totally renovated by the architect & designer Johanna Grawunder, stands in the remains of antique Greece and the middle-age and baroque monuments.
The house is arranged on 3 floors which are connected by a striking central staircase in wood and steel. On the ground floor there is the entrance - dining room, the kitchen with a breakfast corner and a family bathroom. On the first floor there is a living room with balcony and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. On the second floor, a double bedroom with balcony, a dressing room and a family bathroom. On the third floor, there is the equipped terrace from there you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Ortigia's roofs and the volcano Etna on the background.
The public pay parking is only 200 meters away and all the main attractions are within walking distance.
We would like to comunicate which hours guests must not enter in Ortigia with cars, but can normally park at Talete:
- from monday to friday from 8pm to 2am.
- saturday from 4pm to 2am.
- sunday from 11am to 2am.
The property is for rent within the meaning of Italian Law n. 438/1998.
