Molto sporco! Sehr dreckig!
L'appartamento è spazioso, ma sporco. I bagni erano schifosi!
Die Wohnung war geräumig, teils kaputte Möbel, insgesamt dreckig, die Badezimmer waren sehr sehr ekelig, schimmelig und dreckig!
I'm sorry that you found the apartment dirty.
Ms. Alessia make a general check before the guests arrive and if find something dirty, she called the cleaning company to do the cleaning one more time.
Just immediately after checking in, I sent you a message asking to you if everything was ok (I always do this) and you have not talked about this.
This apartment has antique furniture but none of them is broken.
Certainly for me would have been easier and cheaper to furnish the apartment with modern furniture (IKEA style).
I believe that you have a few small personal problem, I hope you can fix it as soon as possible and return to Rome to enjoy a nice holiday.
P.S. for your next trip is a good rule to wash the dishes, turn off the lights, air conditioning and bring out your garbage before leaving the apartment
Amazing apartment in a fantastic location. Highly reccomend
Thank you so much.
I'm very happy that you had a wonderful stay in Rome
All the best
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. I had everything we needed. We wish the refrigerator was a bit larger and the freezer was not frozen over. The air conditioning was excellent. The check in process was very easy and Luigi helped us get transportation from the train station to the apartment and from the apartment to the airport.
Great apartment in a fantastic location!
We had a wonderful experience renting from Luigi. The apartment was beautiful and in an absolutely stellar location - literally a 2 minute walk to Campo Fiori and all kinds of sites. We had 8 of us in all and we're very comfortable. Luigi was a terrific host and was very easy to work with. If we return to Rome, we would 100% return to this apartment!
Perfect location. Good price.
Overall great place to stay with 5 adults or more. Cant be at the price or location!
Thank you for everything Mario and all the best
Centrally located but unit is tired and unsafe
Owner is accommodating but unit is tired. All furniture including mattresses have lost there support and very uncomfortable. Although you spend the major portion of day on tours, its nice to come back and relax before dinner, which you can not do. The one bathroom requires you to hold shower head in one hand, while standing in bath tub.
The upstairs bedroom are 10 degrees warmer, than lower floor, and the one bedroom requires you to duck three times under wood beams to gain access unless your under 5' high.
Unit has only one smoke detector which does not work, located on wall at front door, 6' above ground, while 18, high ceilings are not monitored. The dark hallway leading to dark staircase is on a 2 minute timer when you switch on, if you want to gain access to front door.. There are no emergency lighting installed so with power failure or fire your in big trouble. The unit is unsafe, tired, and over priced.
I'm sorry to discover your nervousness, it is true the apartment has exposed beams on the upper floor and if you are not careful you can bang your head but this type of defect is quite usual for these apartments built in the palaces of 1500. They are ancient buildings and they certainly do not have the characteristics of the Canadian skyscrapers. This is a fault to bear if you want to stay in a building built in 1500 in the historic center of Rome. As for the smoke detector, you must know that it is a carbon monoxide detector and for the Italian law must stay near the kitchen and can not be installed in the hall. You're right, unfortunately it was not working because the previous guest has thought to use the batteries for their use and we did not notice this. I apologize but if I had reported this problem, we would have solved it quickly.
I'm sorry you did not write a word about the strategic location of the apartment that allowed you to walk to ALL the major points of tourist interest.
For your next trip to Rome, I recommend renting an apartment in the modern area of the city and not in the historic center. This will certainly be more suited to your lifestyle. Thank you anyway
