Adorable, clean and quaint
Cozy and quaint apartment. Felt like I went back in time. Would recommend a weekend stay to anyone looking for an affordable getwaway. Very convenient to get to Gunstock and Lake Winnipesaukee.
Lovely Apartment in an Old Farm House
Our host Bill, was very gracious and made my son and I feel welcome before we arrived and right at home immediately after we arrived. The apartment is accessed through a common area (the dining room) but we had all the privacy we needed after entering the apartment itself and we could come and go without disturbing the owner. It was spartan and clean with 1 bedroom furnished with 2 (double or queen?) beds that would sleep a family of 4 or two couples who are comfortable sharing a bedroom. The room had a small reading area and a desk. My son and I each took one bed and it was perfect. There is an enormous closet if needed for long term stay. The kitchen had everything needed for us to prepare meals and space for 2 to dine comfortably. We were in the area to ride Highland Mountain Bike Park and Bill was very kind to allow us to store our bikes in the barn, out of the rain. All in all, this rental met our needs perfectly and I would definitely stay here again. Forgot to mention the lovely Gazebo that is available for use from which I watched a crashing thunderstorm while enjoying a superb local beer.
