A covered deck with hot tub runs the entire length of the front of the house and a side open deck overlooks the beautiful property so you can enjoy the peacefulness of being in the mountains. You may even see the deer that frequent the property. Near Lake Nottely for the water enthusiasts. Paved, 2 lane road with easy access, no crazy roads! Sorry, no pets. No trailers.

When darkness falls and you are finally forced to come inside, you have a wood burning fireplace, Wi-Fi, a computer desk, TV, DVD player, playing cards and board games. Large kitchen and living room with stone wood burning fireplace and wood ceiling beams adjacent gives plenty of open space to stretch out and enjoy. Bedtime gives you a large KING suite with adjoining half bath, a QUEEN bedroom. NO carpet in entire cabin, newly installed wood laminate throughout.

Every effort has been made to make guests feel at home. Shady Acre Retreat is decorated with treasures collected in the mountains over the years. This is not your typical rental, it is a 'home away from home'. Quality bed linens and towels, no cheap rental hand me downs.
