Soggiorno nel centro di Mahone Bay

It was a cozy but big house and so nice to be in the town so we didn't have to get in the car every day but still close enough to many lovely drives. Mahone Bay has many lovely stores and restaurants. The town is full of beautifully kept old homes and we were staying in one.

This house is wonderful...great kitchen, excellent appliances, great beds,spotless,close to lovely Mahone Bay shops and central to other destinations up and down the coast. Couldn’t have made a better choice.

If you are planning a vacation in Nova Scotia, we highly recommend the beautiful historic “MADER HOUSE” in the friendly and vibrant seaside town of Mahone Bay. The home is only one block off the town’s main street where you can browse unique shops, watch artisans at work, savour local cuisine and walk or bike the Cross Canada Trail etc. Mahone Bay is also only 15 minutes from picturesque Lunenburg and bustling Bridgewater.

The three bedroom two bathroom home (One bathroom with a large walk-in shower) is very well supplied and maintained. The large kitchen is well equipped and has a deck of it which we utilized to the fullest.

Lovely house, lovely location, and lovely hosts!

I absolutely loved “The Mader” home, owners were great and personally came to meet us. The house is in great location, the main grocery store is right around the corner and walking to all the shops was also really close. The home had lots of extra amenities that were nice so that you did not have to go buy lots of condiments and spices....etc. If I had to say anything that could use improvement is when there is rainy days maybe a stack of movies could be available or more tv stations. But so far I feel that the home and the town will still be my favourite place in all my spots all over Nova Scotia and PEI. I would go back again! Thank you Dale & Don
