Amazing Property and Beach Location but not Easily Accessible
Firstly, the property pictures are exactly as it is, it is in am amazing location perfectly overlooking the beach and one could not fault it in any way. The villa itself is wonderful with light, airy and spacious rooms. Everything you need is there both inside and outside and you can access the beach in just a short stroll out of the gate.
There are quite a few "house rules" such as no sand to be in or outside of the house. This is obviously important but coming up from the beach and making sure you dont still have sand on your feet is a little unrealistic since the tap on the beach is on the beach and you have to walk from it back to the house. We spent a lot of time washing the outside down and sweeping away sand for fear of a fine.
The second big rule is the toilet tissue. You aren't allowed to flush it down the toilet at all and are told many times both in person and in writing that there is a 400 euro fine should they find out that it has happened. We found this to be a little tricky and a bit of a frustration to have to keep emptying the bin every day and taking the used tissues outside to empty but had to accept it is the same across the island and they are only trying to preserve water.
The property is not close to anything and there are no tourists in this area at all. If i had to pick something that may have made me look at alternatives this would be it. There are no restaurants closeby which is a real shame. There is also no shop and we really struggled to get basic supplies as had to order a taxi daily to go to the main supermarket. It was only around 5 euros in the taxi but would have been lovely to just be able to walk to a shop to get water at least. THere is a coastal path that takes you to Playa Melenares that has a handful of restaurants. They arn't very english orientated so take a translator of some kind for ease of ordering. Also they closed early when we were there and we had to eat out at 2ish daily or get a taxi to Las Palmas (around 30 euros in a cab)
The garage is used by the neighbour so if you do have a hire car it would have to go on the street which, from our view was pretty tight on the parking front.
The 5th bedroom is not inside the property. Wasn't a problem for us but might be for those with young children. Also no internet in that room and building works outside meant the person in there was woken at 730 daily.
Overall had a great stay but would probably choose a different location next time
In the announcement of my house I clearly explain that the car is necessary, that parking is on the street, that it is free and that it is parked without problems. Obviating my recommendation these guests decided to come to my house without a car. We also explained that the house is ... "in a residential area, not very quiet, without any transit road".
The garage does not rent to anyone (nor to any neighbor) because inside it is the low voltage high voltage power transformer station of the photovoltaic solar energy plant that we have since my house is ecological and friendly to the environment .
The supermarkets are 3 minutes away by car.
In addition to the tap and shower that exists on the beach, we have 3 taps on the outside of the house so that guests can wash their feet with water and remove the sand from the beach and prevent sand from falling on carpets, sofas, pool, etc.
There are 2 good restaurants (Casa Perico and Avomar) facing the sea 3 minutes walking from my house and another restaurant from the Fishermen's Guild inside the port of Taliarte, 4 minutes walking from my house on the beautiful promenade that is just in front from my house.
Of course, the schedules of the restaurants in the Canary Islands are different from those of other European countries.
It is unfortunate that my guests have not read all the information we have at home for them where all this and much more is explained to them.
The construction works never start at 7:30 a.m. neither in the Canary Islands nor in any other country because it is illegal. My guests had to have their watches with the schedule of their country of origin.
I am happy to know that my guests recognize textually: ... "they had a great stay, that the property is amazing and that it is on the beach and that you can not find any defect, that the villa itself is wonderful .. . etc"
We had a fantastic time, the property was exactly as advertised. Wonderful view!
The sound of the beach, the view of the sea was breath taking. The property was near the supermarket and restaurants. The beach was like a private beach with very few people at any given time. The property was as advertised, spacious with all the necessary facilities. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this property and location.
Great stay at a well appointed property
We can recommend this property. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and right on the beach. The house is located in a residential area where we had no disturbances at all. It's a reasonable walk to evening restaurants or a very short hop by car (we recommend a hire car for a stay here). The restaurants we found were very good and catered for residents as well as tourists. Isabel was a fabulous host. Super attentive and exceptionally quick to answer questions or to address any queries. Very efficient and trustworthy. The house exceeded the standards we hoped for, it caters for the upper end of the market - great artwork in the home too as well as fast wifi.

Weit genug weg vom Massentourismus und doch zentral auf der Insel gelegen hat uns Isabel
in Ihrer liebevollen Villa empfangen und wir (9Personen) hatten einen wunderbaren und entspannten Aufenthalt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und die unmittelbare Nähe zum Strand ist
Karsten Goerlitz and his group are extraordinary people that every owner wants to receive.
They have valued my house on the beach located in a non-tourist residential area that allows you to enjoy a quiet stay without crowds or noise and many days the beach seems to be private.
And it is a few minutes away from anything you may need: supermarkets, hypermarkets, restaurants and cafes, shopping centers, golf, etc.
It always gives me great joy to know that the people who come to my house have a great time, they keep a pleasant memory of their vacations and they are left wanting to return to my house on the beach.

Wat een fantastische plek voor een prachtige week vakantie met de hele family!
Vanuit de villa zo het strand lopen is geweldig.
Men is de buurt wat aan het renoveren. Strand met restaurantjes op 5 autominuten
De villa is keurig onderhouden en schoon.
Bij dit niveau huis hoort wel een veel betere manier van koffie zetten.
Advies is ook om een slang neer te leggen om zelf dagelijks het zand op het terras wat weg te kunnen spoelen.
Wij komen zker nogmaals terug
