The photos actually do not do this property justice - it's much prettier!
The listing description is wholly accurate regards the location, layout, and amenities. The property was immaculately clean and well maintained. Its a really quaint 'home' style property in an unbelievable location. People literally camp outside the entrance gates to the property, waiting for the sunset in Vernazza to take pictures.
Yes, there are lots of steps to the property, but it's the Cinque Terre so steps are everywhere. The property manager/owner was prompt and courteous in his replies and organisation.
We were a couple, so only used the double room (very comfy bed) and had stunning window views out over Vernazza and the coast. The terrace has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the sunsets privately - it really is exquisite. The house is stocked plentifully with crockery and cutlery etc. The property is safe and secure.
Bar La Torre is an excellent trattoria just a few steps up from the house, at the start of the Corniglia trail, and is easier than going down circa 180 steps to the port! We enjoyed lunch and dinner there.
I'd return here in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone who is fit, healthy and comfortable with lots of steps! Don't let that deter you - it's beautiful.
Our group of 4 stayed here in early May, and we were absolutely wowed! The views from the terrace and windows are second to none. We found it hard to drag ourselves away to explore because we were so content at the villa. The villa is spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The main bathroom is nicely updated and very functional. The second bathroom on the terrace was perfect with its toilet and sink, and the outdoor shower is a nice touch as well. In each bedroom, windows open to the ocean for cool breezes and the soothing sound of crashing waves below. We were never hot, but there are some fans if one needed them. The kitchen is nicely appointed and handy. The terrace has plenty of chairs and a table as well, so we spent a great amount of time out there. Communicating with the owner was seamless, and they were flexible with options for payment. Upon our arrival, we were greeted at the train station and had a very helpful man assist with our bags and guiding us to the villa. This is not the place for anyone with physical limitations, as it is perched far up on the cliffside, and the hike up with bags is a bit demanding. For those fit and able to hike, it was no problem. My main tip would be to pack light- carry-on size, as anything more would be an issue. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we are all in a hurry to return back. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the Cinque Terre. This villa was ideal!! We have already highly recommended it to friends and family. One final tip would be to bring a flashlight, as at night, the path is very dark.
We had the pleasure of staying in this comfortable and charming villa for four nights in May. Words cannot express how delightful it was! As for location, it is the best spot in Vernazza. The views from the windows and patio are absolutely breathtaking. We slept with the windows open and let the crash of the waves sing us to sleep each night and spent wonderful sun-soaked mornings out on the patio enjoying the beautiful terrace garden. The villa was spotlessly clean and roomy enough for all four of us. The extra bathroom located on the patio was very handy and the guys enjoyed the outdoor shower. The beautiful antique furniture added extra Italian ambience and we never dreaded traversing the 160 stairs to and from the villa...such a beautiful daily and nightly hike and well worth the views! We hiked to the restaurant above the villa, La Torre, twice, because we loved it so much! Overall, an Italian dream come true! I hope to return some day. PS...pack light! Whatever you bring along with you will be lugged up and down 160 stairs worth of rugged terrain. Thankfully, the owner sent a kind gentleman who met us at the train station and helped with some of the bags. So glad we packed in carry-on size luggage!

We stayed in this wonderful villa for the last leg of our honeymoon and we couldn't have chosen better! The villa was spacious, fully equipped, and had probably the best view from a private residence in all of Vernazza. Alessio was a gentleman and met us at the train station to escort us to the villa, and was honest and forthright to deal with. We would definitely stay there again.
The only suggestion I'd offer to travelers is to know that Vernazza is a village with many stairs, and the reason this villa has such breathtaking views is because it is perched high. If you aren't able to climb stairs, then this would not be a good fit for you.
