Our stay at the cabin was great. It had an amazing view from the back deck. Normally 1 room cabins are very crammed but this cabin was very open and to me, it was large for a one room. This cabin was great for our Honeymoon!!!! Thanks so much for a great vacation.

The cabin was very nice and had a beautiful view. Everything was clean and neat, and the cabin is decorated very tastefully. We really enjoyed our stay very much. It was the perfect accommodations for our 37th anniversary celebration. The cabin is very convenient to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. We would highly recommend it to anyone. The owners are very nice and conscientious about making your stay a memorable one.

Our apologies to Debra & Jerry for delaying our review for our visit May 15 - May 22, 2010 @ "Destiny Den". Since our return home we have had two sequential sets of family visitors. In retrospect, we realize that we should have rented the cabin AFTER the visitations.

Despite living nearby in western NC, this was our first trip into the area. We have made numerous annual vacations to Charleston, SC and then segued to Savannah, GA. Now Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg is our annual R&R destination.

If we could assign a "6" star rating for the home, we would. It was very clean and warmly decorated.
For those with spinal issues, we must note that the mattress was supportive and extremely comfortable. The owners frequent the cabin themselves; this is reflected in the nice furnishings and maintenance.

The view from the rear deck surpasses the photos. The sunset views were spectacular...think blackened mountains silhouetted by a pink, lavender and pale yellow sky. You look out over the tops of the trees and above the nearby undeveloped valley onto the distant mountain range. And yes, you faintly hear the Dollywood train whistle. It is an unforgettable way to end the day.

"Destiny Den" / the Hidden Springs Resort area is very close to the Dollywood parks. While still in a quiet, rustic, forested, vicinity almost abutting the amusement facility, you have but a few miles on a rural road with minimal stop signs between the cabin and commercial hub of Pigeon Forge.

Our weather forecast was grim ( and very erroneous) with predicted T-storms every day. We bought cheap, foldable / disposable raincoats and toured in the occasional rain. (NO lines @ Dollywood...we went on everything without waiting!)

Despite living in the mountains of western NC, Diane has issues with heights / elevation. The Hidden Springs Resort in which the cabin is located, has nicely paved, double lane roads that were easily and safely travelled in the inclement weather. She noticed that some rentals were accessed only by single wide graveled roads that were difficult to navigate and allow other cars to pass.

Debra & Jerry were very responsive and communicative to all inquiries. You establish a personal as well as a business bond with them. We look forward to renting their unit again.

We were rewarded for all our research. Destiny Den was an unforgettable place to come home to, to turn off the electronics, to relax and sit on the deck and to escape into the view.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at destiny den. We could not have been happier with our stay. The neighborhood is very peaceful and relaxing. The view is amazing and the decor is beautiful. We had a minor problem with the electricity but the owners were very helpful and it was solved immediately. We hope to be able to return in the future.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Destiny Den. The description of this cabin is accurate and the cabin is very well maintained and clean. This is our 6th time staying in a cabin in the Smokies, and this was by far the cleanest place we have stayed! Debra and Jerry were very kind and helpful throughout the process. Great communication, and they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. All of our time spent at the cabin was out on the deck looking at the view and enjoying the sunsets, watching birds, also walking around the resort, lots of hills gave us and the dog a workout! Could often hear the Dollywood Train from our deck. The cabin location is close to everything! One day, we even found a secret detour off King's Branch Road when we got stuck in traffic on the parkway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My only recommendation would be an ash can for the grill. Thank you Debra and Jerry!

Our experience at Destiny Den could not have been better. The owners truely care about their renters and guide you through every step from reservation to a starter pack of necessities, a phone call to see if all your needs are met, and a follow up inquiry. All this and a beautiful and clean cabin with a great view, and all the modern ammenities. We will definately look this cabin up when we come again. One last thing...very close to all the attractions and very affordable.

My husband and I came to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and stayed in Destinys Den. We were so pleased with how neat and clean it was. Also, it was decorated so nice and the views were awesome. We loved that is was so homey and inviting. We would gladly recommend this cabin to our family and friends.

The cabin location is great; it is convenient to everything. The view at the cabin is good also, you have what you want to see on a mountain stay. The cabin is well appointed and entertains well. We will be back.
