We stayed at the apartment from 06.08.11 to 12.08.11. With coming from a quite village in Devon, England we found the area noisy, but we accepted that fact. Apart from that the apartment was nice and well decorated. The apartment block looked run down but was undergoing redecoration, the parts that had been done looked good.
Plus points:- Clothes washing machine, fridge/freezer, computer with internet, nearby S-bahn station and bus stops.
Minus points:- The main bedroom could of done with being another 0.5 metres wider so that you can walk around the bed instead of over it to open the window or blind, the bedrooms could with different blinds if you twist the blind one way you get street light shining on the ceiling twist it the other way the daylight streams through.

Sadly we missed Ingela's personnal touch as she was away on her own holiday.

One thing that we would recommend that would come in handy would be a list of supermarkets there locations and opening times within a 3km radius of the apartment.

I would recommend the apartment to others.

Very well equipped and designed. Clean and very attractive. Convenient for metro and Schonbrunn in walking distance!
Ingela is very helpful and the use of netbook and two mobile phones is a very thoughtful touch.
Couple of supermarkets nearby and a rather good pizza place.
Wouldnt hesitate to recommend to family and friends

We (3) stayed here for nine nights and it was a lovely flat to live in, which matches the description and all photos exactly.

Ingela was there to meet us after our taxi journey from the airport and it is well worth it in our opinion to accept her kind offer of ordering a fixed price taxi for you from the airport (and back after holiday if requested).

There are local supermarkets and the tube or u bahn station is just round the corner and over the road so very easy to get anywhere in Vienna.
The Schonbrunn is just up the road or one stop on the underground (latter is easier) and if you want to experience everything along with the excellent zoo (Tiergarten) then start early if you want to see it all in one day.

We really enjoyed our holiday home and it will be our choice on any future visit.

We were a family of (3) staying at this apartment. Inge could not have been more accommodating. She greeted us upon arrival and was very thorough. The apartment was very clean and welcoming. She even had a welcome basket of fruit and chocolates waiting for us (nice touch). We have rented many apartments in Europe via home away and this apartment ranks as one of the top! What sets it apart is the little touches that Inge provides. She has two cell phones for us to use while in Austria (calling in Austria is free) and she also provides a laptop to use during the stay. The entrance to the apartment does not match her apartment. The entrance is under construction and a bit run down, but her apartment is wonderful. We would definitely recommend this apartment. It is very accessbile to downtown via the subway. Thank you Inge!!!!

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at this large, well-equipped and clean apartment. We parked our car outside the apartment all week as the U-bahn is so close and handy. We loved that the food markets were so close as well as the wonderful Meidling pedestrian walkway.

Ingela is a perfect host and when we asked for help she was right there at our door.

We would not hesitate to recommend this great apartment to our friends.

This is a great apartment, in a quiet part of the city but close to the ubahn line between the centre and the summer palace. Well equipped,light and practical and owned by the ever helpful Ingela.
Vienna is cultured and full of wonderful things to see and do. We were part of a choir performing in churches throughout the city and the flat made a great place to return to at the end of a busy day. Highly recommended at any time of year.

We stayed for a week in Ingela's lovely, clean and newly refurbished apartment. The apartment is a short walk from Schonbrunn Palace and Zoo, both of which we visited, and very close to the U-bahn which takes you to the centre of Vienna in a few stops. Ingela is a great host, meeting us at the U-bahn and making sure we were settled in. She has equipped the apartment with books, guidebooks and instructions to make your stay more enjoyable, and 2 supermarkets are a short walk away.

My partner and I stayed 3 nights in this modern, well appointed apartment although we would have liked to stay a week. Ingela was a wonderful host providing use of mobile phones, notebook for use with internet connection and everything that we required. We would highly recommend this apartment for couples or a family. There is 3 flights of stairs but this wasnt a problem. We also had bicyles to store and these were able to be left downstairs in a common area and there were no issues.
