Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Mädchen) haben einen wundervollen Urlaub auf der Insel Ciovo verbracht. Das Apartment war ansprechend eingerichtet und man hatte von dort einen tollen Blick über die Bucht. Der Urlaubsort war für uns hervorragend geeignet. Die Strände sind teils sehr lebhaft, aber wir haben trotzdem immer ein schönes Plätzchen bekommen. Es gibt auch ruhige Strände, die sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Am Hauptstrand gibt es sehr viele Bars mit Erfrischungen, Esssen, Eis und mehr. Wassersportmöglichkeiten sind auch reichlich gegeben. Das Meer ist hervorragend. Mit den vielen Wassertaxis kommt man problemlos alles 20 Minuten nach Trogir und zurück. Es gibt mehrere gute Restaurants, die alle zu empfehlen sind. Vom Appartment zum Meer und zurück muss man schon gut zu Fuß sein. Es geht schon ziemlich steil ab zum Meer und natürlich dann auch wieder steil auf zum Apartment. Der Ort ist wirklich sehr schön. Gut gefallen hat mir insbesondere das morgendliche Treiben rund um die Post und dem Marktplatz. Dort morgens bei einem Cappuccino zu sitzen und das alltägliche Leben zu genießen, war schon immer der erste Höhepunkt des Tages. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die Betreuung durch Bozena, wobei Betreuung vielleicht nicht das richtige Wort ist. Bozena kümmert sich um alles und ist immer freundlich. Wenn es mal Probleme geben sollte, wird sie sie lösen. Wir haben uns auch immer gefreut, dass man mit ihr auch mal ein privates Wort reden konnte. Bozena, noch einmal ganz herzlichen Dank für die freundliche Unterstützung!! Wenn ich einen Kritikpunkt anbringen möchte, dann den, dass der in der Beschreibung beschriebene SAT/Kabelanfang nicht vorhanden ist. Es gibt den sehr schönen Fernseher mit DVD Receiver. Ein Fernsehanfang war nicht möglich. Es hat uns nicht sonderlich gestört, da wir die Zeit besser nutzen konnten. Meines Erachtens sollte dies aber aus der Beschreibung hervorgehen. Deshalb von uns einen Stern abzug wegen dieser nicht richtigen Information. Trotzdem ist dieses Apartment absolut zu emphehlen. wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!

Wir waren zu dritt vom 28.6. bis 8. Juli 09 in dieem Appartement und waren begeistert. Der unglaubliche Blick von der Terrasse über die gesamte Bucht, der lebendige Urlaubsort Okrug (15 min. zum Strand mit tollen Strandbars - 25 min. zu abgelegenen Badebuchten auf der anderen Seite!), sehr gut sortierte Supermärkte als Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Mit den Wassertaxis sind im Halbstunden-Takt die herrlichen Städte Trogir und Split erreichbar. Anfang Juli waren die Temperaturen noch nicht hochsommerlich, was uns sehr entgegen kam. Die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert und fair. Dieses Appartement würde ich jederzeit im Freundeskreis weiterempfehlen und wieder besuchen.

We stayed for a week at this apartment in early September, and had a fabulous holiday.

The apartment is really lovely, modern, spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and more, there were lots of little extras that made it feel like home. There was also a welcome pack waiting for us which was very thoughtful.

As others have said the views of the bay from the apartment are stunning, we loved having our breakfasts on the terrace and in the evening sitting with a glass of local wine and watching the sun set, bliss!

Bozena is the agent/manager that is on hand in the next building, she was helpful, friendly and welcoming and was able to answer any questions we had. Sharon, the owner of the property organised airport transfers for us which was really convenient and went smoothly.

We arrived before the check in time but Bozena ensured that the apartment was available for us as we arrived which we did appreciate.

We hired scooters rather than a car to get around and we loved it, good fun and economical!

The Okrug Gornji has just the right amount of bars, restaurants and shops to give you choice but not be over commercialised.

We had a wonderful holiday, this was our third visit, we love it there and can't wait to go back!

One of the things we loved about our Ciovo holiday, and there were many, was that the hilltop apartment was everything it was advertised to be. It was immaculate and modern and thoughtfully stocked for guests. And the sunset views from the patio were absolutely stunning!
The walk to and from the beach was slightly challenging at first, but as the week progressed, we had fun racing back up to the apartment. We didn't need a car with our 6-year-old twin girls as the town was very walkable - a 10-minute walk to the center where there were bakeries, an outdoor produce market and small supermarket.
As Americans living in London for the last 8 months, the balmy Croatian weather was a dream. Everyday was a beach day and when we felt like a change of pace, we took the water taxi to lovely Trogir, with its gorgeous promenade, shops, restaurants and ambling green market with wonderful cheeses, figs, olive oil, nectarines and watermelon, and oh I forgot to mention the gelato!!! We also traveled by boat to Spilt to see Diocletian's Palace and the Ethnographic Museum. Also a very walkable place and easy for our kids to digest.
We'd heard so many great things about Krka National Park that we rented a car on our last day so we could swim by the waterfalls. The drive was easy and gave us more dramatic views of the stunning coastline. The park was beautiful and swimming by the falls was incredible.
The warmth and hospitality of the Croatian people really had an impact on us. Everywhere we went we felt a lovely graciousness from the locals. Bozena, the owner's representative at the property, couldn't have been more helpful and accessible (she lives just across the road!). She was the key to us getting around easily and for the best price. We can't say enough good things about Bozena.
All in all this was one of our best family hoildays. Thank you Sharon for opening up your home to us. I think our daughter summed it up best when she said she wanted to live in Croatia!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in June. Transfers were simply arranged with the help of Bozena. She was there to greet us on arrival and available if we needed her.
The apartment itself was everything it said it was and more. It was very comfortable, bright, clean and extremely well equipped.
The climb up to the apartment was well worth it, as the view was spectacular and it was so quiet and peaceful.
We enjoyed long walks on the island and trips to Trogir, Split and Krka national park.
We would certainly consider returning again.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment with our two children and had the most amazing time. We will definatley come back.

We have just had the most wonderful holiday! We were met at the airport by the taxi Bogeena had arranged for us and 15 minutes later she met us at the apartment herself to greet and settle us in, etc - such a stress free start to our holiday.

The apartment itself was everything we had expected : clean, bright, modern (the shower is fab) and with the most fantastic view over the bay where we watched the boats come and go throughout the day.

The beach was lovely and clean and the water was wonderful for swimming in - so clean and clear and warm that we swam every day. Well worth taking snorkelling gear and jelly shoes.

A little taxi boat runs from the beach to Trogir and back every half hour and it is well worth several visits as it's such a beautiful place. Our favourite watering point in Trogir was Big Dady's bar on the seafront where we sat with a beer and watched the rich play with their big boats!

All of the restaurants that we ate in were really good both in the village and in Trogir - a mix of Croatian, German and Italian tastes.

The village supermarket was fine and the bakery opposite was amazing.

We were delighted with the apartment, it was very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. A welcome pack was provided and the apartment contained everything you could need including some dvds and books. It was great to get up in the morning and have breakfast on the large balcony with beautiful sea views.
Car parking was available outside the apartment block.
Both the owner and the local contact were friendly and helpful.

There are plenty of restaurants and cafe bars in Ciovo/Trogir.

This was our first visit to Croatia and we loved it so much we will definitely be back. The scenery is amazing.
From Ciovo we did day trips to Split and Krk National Park, both well worth a visit.

I would highly recommend this apartment, you will not be disappointed.
