My husband and I stayed for a week at this condo "on top of sunset cliffs". The owner, Donn, was very nice and met us at the condo to get keys and garage door opener. It was nice to have a personal parking spot in a secure location. The elevator helped in getting our luggage up to the second floor. We have stayed in the area before, but never directly on the ocean. The balcony is very private and you would never know there are condos on either side. On two separate occasions, we saw grey whales spouting just past the kelp beds. We also saw dolphins "surfing" in the waves. Watching the sun set from the balcony is especially spectacular. The condo is very IKEA which we happen to like a lot. It is so nice to have a kitchen and living room to relax and save some money on meals too. Donn was so kind as to leave us a couple bottles of wine and some local micro brews. We couldn't haven't really asked for any more. We would definitely recommend this condo for any one wanting to stay in San Diego.

Risposta del proprietario: It’s great to hear these nice comments. Your note about the beer and wine is appreciated. For guests staying a week or longer, we supply a six-pack of a variety of San Diego micro brews, an award winning Cabernet Sauvignon (also from San Diego County), and a bottle of white wine. We also supply hot chocolate drink mix for those who don’t drink alcohol, as well as packets of microwave popcorn. For guests staying less than a week, we supply beers and wine, but not as many from local vendors. We do this to make sure our guests can come in, kick back and relax, and catch those beautiful sunsets.
The comment about the “private balcony” is something that a lot of our guests mention to us. On our pictures, you’ll see an aerial view that nicely depicts the curvature of the western (seaward) side of the building. So when you’re out there and looking to either the left or right, even if you lean out, you’ll not be able to see the other units. It seems as if it’s just you and the ocean.
