Exceeded its promise
It was our first trip to BA so we were a little apprehensive about leaving the hotel womb to stay in an apartment. What a great decision!! This place was large,, well appointed, and located in just tge right part of the city. What a great neighborhood. Much of what we wanted to see and eat and shop was within walking distance along beautiful and vibrant streets. What was most wonderful was the knowledge that when we ran out of steam we could head back to our he away from home. The owner Matt and his on site supervisor Nico made sure that all problems and uncertainty were easily disposed of. This is a wonderful apartment in a beautiful building. We'll be back very soon

Exquisite!
We just returned from an amazing trip to Buenos Aires. Staying in an apartment is definitely the way to go if you want to get a real taste of the city like a local. This apartment has the look of a seventeenth century Parisian flat from the traditional architecture of the building to the fine details of the interior including the marbled staircase and elevator. Yet it has a completely modern feel from the granite countertops in the kitchen to the nuevo art and furniture accents. High ceilings, intricate cornices, wood trim and glass doors, and parquet floors give the place a spacious, airy, and bright feeling. It is impeccably kept, and has all of the amenities you will need for your stay. Located right in the center of Recoleta barrio, you have access to all the best the city has to offer. Everything is within walking distance including the famed Cementerio de la Recoleta. Restaurants, cafes, markets, Laundromats, and pharmacies abound on every block. You’ll spend hours walking the tree-lined, cobbled streets savoring the all the city has to offer. When you return back to this apartment you will find it so welcoming. The beds are especially comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed cooking many delicious meals. The building has on-site caretakers who can help you with any of your needs, and of course, Niko and Matt are so gracious and accommodating, checking on us throughout our stay. They can even arrange for your transportation to and from the airport. If you are planning a trip to the beautiful city of Buenos Aires I highly recommend this place. You will be very pleased you made this choice.

Exactly as advertised; very comfortable and convenient
This apt. is very near the NYU campus in BA. Comfortable master bedroom, kitchen, extra bedroom/study. Perfectly safe. Nicolas met us there on arrival with all the necessary info about local laundries, etc. Supermarket right next door. Recommended for short or long stays.

New Year in Buenos Aires
We arrived on January 03 we found Nicolas waiting for us with all the keys and documents. The apartment is exactly as shown, well located and in a safe area in the Recoleta. We were a party of 5 with my wife and 3 kids. We enjoyed the area, we could suggest a better dish and glass ware and cuttlery.
The internet was a problem as it came and gone, was very difficult to get a permanent signal.
Overall our experience was Good and would recommend to maximun of 5 persons. Close to supermarkets and laundry. Taxis are easily grab and will take you in a jiffy as the apartment is strategically located.

Absolutely Splendid!
The apartment was spacious, charming, and comfortable. It was conveniently located; we could walk to everything we needed. If we wished to go further, the subway was 5 blocks away and taxis were right out the door. The listing description is accurate in every way.
The apartment itself was only surpassed by the customer service. Matt guided us before and during our entire stay. His business associate in Buenos Aires, Nicholas, was equally kind and helpful.
We waded through the Recoleta Cemetery during the worst storm since 1963 which served to give it the perfect ambience. We walked to MALBA, a fabulous Latin American museum, enjoying the architecture, exhibits and the cafe. The market at San Telmo was fun; we even witnessed 100s marching/performing on the streets for Patriot Day. The tour of the famous Teatro Colon was worth every peso. Two of our favorite restaurants were Don Julio's and Bio in Palermo. Our first night's entertainment was at a jazz club, Notorious, that our son recommended. Very cool!
The only reason our stay didn't get 5 stars is because of circumstances beyond the owners control, they were constructing a new building next door which began early on the weekday mornings when it wasn't raining.

Great place to stay while in BA
We resently traveled to Buenos Aires to meet up with our daughter who is currently studying in BA. The apartment we rented from Matthew was wonderful! It was in a great area of the city, everything we needed was within walking distance and if it wasn't - cabs were easy to get at all hours of the day and night.
Our daughter joined us during our stay, so there were 5 of us and we had plenty of space -using the futon couch at night for sleep. It was very warm in BA when we visited, and the air conditioning did the trick at night, but we left the windows open during the day to enjoy the sights and sounds of a bustling city.
Matthew and his staff took wonderful care of us - making sure we had transfers arranged for travel to and from the airport, restaurant ideas as well as the best place to take laundry. We felt comfortable emailing him and his staff whenever we had a question and always received quick responses back.
The apartment was clean and bright and the neighbors were friendly. Everyone made us feel at home and welcome.
I only hope that our next experience with a vacation rental is as exceptional as our stay was with this apartment. If our travels bring us back to BA, we will definitely rent from Matthew again.

Excellent Location and Value in Recoleta!
We arrived at this apartment on a Saturday and Nico was there to meet us and our 3 large suitcases! Thankfully the building has a small but delightful old elevator that helped us up to the fourth floor apt. The two bedrooms were great, as well at the fully stocked kitchen! We frequented the large grocery store about 2 blocks away almost every other night, as we had gotten a little tired of being out all day and then eating until midnight every night! As was mentioned in previous reviews the wifi was hit and miss for most our stay there. The cafe below the apartment was great for a cafe con leche and pastries! The apartment was in a great location, with several great restaurants within walking distance, as well as supermarkets and stores. Matt was very responsive via email and easy to work with and Nico was great handling the check in and check out as Matt was back in America for a month or so. I would say in conclusion that this property was a great value and a great location and I would highly recommend it!

Great value in Ricoleta!
We stayed at this beautiful apartment for a week this past November. Located in a great part of town, very easy to walk around and explore. The building itself is very secure and charming. We were in the apartment on the fourth floor, and there was plenty of space for the four of us. There was some construction going on next door while we were there so along with the typical city street noise, we had a 7am wake up call when work began every morning. The wifi was hit and miss for most of the stay. Luckily there was another open wifi network that would work in the very corner of the living room. Otherwise the apartment was fabulous! The cafe in the corner of the building is a must for a cappuccino and pastry to start your day. Matt was very responsive via email and easy to work with. Overall, this place is a great value for the area!!

Great location!!
I spent a month in BA and stayed at this incredible apartment which is in a great location. If you are not afraid to walk at all, this is a great place to stay to explore Buenos Aires. The apartment is pretty big so 4 people can be accommodated perfectly. the property was nice and clean. Matt the owner was very helpful at all times and managed to have a car pick us up at the airport. There are plenty of laundry rooms around and very good restaurants. I highly recommend this property, you will not regreat it!

GREAT PLACE: WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
GREAT PLACE; WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
My wife and I recently stayed in this apartment. We can't say enough good things about it. First of all, just like the advertisement says, this place is Paris in Buenos Aires. If you are looking for a steel and concrete tower this place is not for you. The apartment has all of the old world charm that one imagines in Paris of the 1930s such as the wooden parquet floors, high ceilings, and French windows and doors. It was summer so we could open the French doors and this provided a nice light air flow through the apartment. We didn't use the air conditioning much but it worked well. The main bedroom opens to the living room but a sliding door provides privacy. The whole apartment and is airy and light and is tastfully decorated. The second bedroom, which we didn't need, also has a working area and good internet connection. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed, however in a city of superb restaurants like Buenos Aires we took most of our meals out.
The area the apartment is located in couldn't be more central. Everything is close by: the coffee shop downstairs was our favorite place for excellent coffee and pastry in the morning. There are any number of shops, supermarkets and restaurants quite nearby. The Recoleta cemetery where Eva Peron is buried is a few blocks away as is the Buenos Aires design center and weekend handycrafts market. Other intersting areas of the city like San Telmo and La Boca (bohemian quarters) are a short cab ride away. Nightlife in Buenos Aires starts after 9:00 pm and is very vibrant and exciting. We especially liked the area around Plaza San Martin where there are pedestrian streets for shopping, eating and drinking.
Finally, we want to thank Matthew, the on-site manager of the apartment, for all of his help. He was there on time to check us in. He knows the city well and provided excellent advice on restaurants, places to visit and things to do, and was overall very helpful and cheerful.
We highly recommend this apartment are looking forward to staying there again on our next visit to Buenos Aires.
