We stayed at this Nautica del Mar apartment in February 2013. Both – the owner and the property manager – are very nice and accommodating people. They went out of their way to accommodate our late night arrival and departure times.

COMPLEX: There is plenty of parking in this gated community. There is a pool with a water slide, which kids love. Adjacent to the pool are gazebo, bathrooms, and outside shower. The development also has a playground for kids and is only a mile drive to the closest Combate beach.

APARTMENT: The apartment is located on the second floor of elevator-equipped building, which appears to be built relatively recently. The apartment is in excellent condition and has open master bedroom without doors, guest bedroom, balcony, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, living/dining room, balcony, and laundry room. The apartment has 3 A/C units. Linens and towels are provided.

MASTER BEDROOM: Master bedroom is not separated by walls/doors from the main living area of the apartment and thus doesn’t provide privacy. There is an A/C next to the queen-size bed and two night stands. Next to the master bedroom are two wall closets opposite each other. At the end of the closet hallway is the entrance to the full bathroom.

GUEST BEDROOM: Guest bedroom has two bunk beds. One of them has two single-size mattresses; another has one full (bottom) and one single (top). There is also a closet and an A/C unit.

KITCHEN: Kitchen has large top-freezer fridge, two sinks, electric cooktop and oven, microwave. There is also a breakfast bar with three tall chairs. The pots, pans and utensils are provided.

DINING/LIVING AREA: There is a tall table for 3 with three tall chairs. There is also large couch with a large ottoman, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and an A/C unit. You can put an extra person on a couch.

LAUNDRY ROOM: There are washer and clothes dryer units, sink and a lot of cleaning supplies.

BALCONY: Balcony has a great view of surrounding areas and a tall table with two chairs. The balcony is overlooking kids’ playground, which is very convenient to watch your kids without actually going downstairs. The balcony is also overlooking sewage drain areas and at times there is an unpleasant methane-like smell.

Overall, the apartment is comfortable for up to 7 people, but don’t expect to have any privacy.
