COSA DIRE DI QUESTO FANTASTICO POSTO?IO E I MIEI AMICI ABBIAMO TRASCORSO UN WEEK END INDIMENTICABILE IN UN CASALE DAVVERO SPETTACOLARE.UN CASOLARE DOVE NON MANCA DAVVERO NULLA:CAMERE SPAZIOSE E MOLTO ELEGANTI,BAGNI FANTASTICI,UNA CUCINA FORNITA DI OGNI COMODITA',SOGGIORNO E SALOTTO INVITANTI E UN ESTERNO MOLTO CURATO CON UNA PISCINA BELLISSIMA,GIARDINO ALTRETTANTO BELLO E CON UNA VISTA MOZZAFIATO.IL TUTTO CURATO IN OGNI MINIMO DETTAGLIO.SICURAMENTE TORNEREMO A CASA FONTANELLE!!!PER NON PARLARE DELLA CORTESIA E DELLA DISPONIBILITA' DEL"PADRONE DI CASA" IL SIGNOR GRAHAM.DAVVERO UN GRAZIE DI CUORE PER AVERCI DATO LA POSSIBILITA' DI POTER CONOSCERE UN LUOGO FANTASTICO COM'E' CASA FONTANELLE.

When we renovated the farmhouse we have tried to respect local Umbrian quality and tradition but at the same time providing modern comforts to our guests. To have Italian guests say such wonderful things means a lot and is very special to me. I offer this translation for non-Italian speakers; What can I say about this fantastic place? My friends and I we spent an unforgettable weekend in a truly spectacular farmhouse. A farmhouse where nothing truly is missing; spacious and very elegant rooms, fantastic bathrooms, a kitchen supplied with every convenience. An inviting lounge and summer room with breathtaking views to well maintained gardens, terrace and a beautiful swimming pool. Everything has been cared for in every minute detail. We would also like to thank the owner, Signor Graham for his kindness, help and availability to respond to all our needs. We will surely return to Casa Fontanelle. Soon, very soon!

Perfect getaway

We have stayed at Casa Fontanelle twice (2008 and 2009) with friends and completely enjoyed it on both occasions. The villa is so homely and comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The location is beautiful and we found some really good family-run restaurants in nearby towns. I spent my 50th birthday here in 2009 and although I ended up cooking for 12, it'll possibly be my most memorable birthday (definitely the most relaxed I can remember). We're hoping to have a family holiday at Casa Fontanelle during the next year and I can't wait. Love it.

We now have a heated pool, new sunloungers and another modern 4 poster bed in one of the large bedrooms. We endeavour to improve the standard of accommodation each year and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

We have just spent 5 amazing nights at this beautiful house, the scenery was stunning, (the only sound was the birds) the house was so well appointed with everything we needed. The pool was clean, warm, and a nice size, Graham offered so much helpful information about local places to eat and visit (Assisi and Todi were our favourites) Top tip - Laura the neighbour can provide amazing home cooked food for very reasonable prices. We think this house is a little piece of heaven. Suitable for all ages, and groups or a romantic retreat. We hope to return!

Risposta del proprietario: Lovely review from lovely guests. It's very pleasing that following 5 years of renting out Casa Fontanelle that our standards and guest comments remain high. We carry out an annual maintenance programme and add a few extras each year, one of which is now an option to sample a welcome meal prepared by my lovely neighbour Laura (500 metres away). Family vacation

Casa Fontanelle was a wonderful choice for our family vacation. There were 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space in and out for everyone. The bedrooms were spacious and the showers were great.
When we arrived there was a wonderful welcome package waiting for us. Within a couple of hours of arriving the caretakers, Tony and Carin, came to welcome us. We also received a phone call from Graham, the owner, that evening.
The house is in a wonderful location, close to many attractions. We are very thankful to Graham for making our holiday so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa Fontanelle to anyone. We are already trying to plan our next visit.

60th Birthday Celebration

I booked this villa to celebrate my wifes' 60th. birthday with 6 long standing friends (since 1955).Everything was perfect and exactly as described.The starter pack was first class, the villa incredibly spacious, and on entry we were welcomed with huge vases of flowers.Graham the owner could not have been more helpful,booking our flights and hire car for us, and an exceptional restaurant for our main 60th celebration which included an amazing cake.We also received a call from him within an hour of our arrival to ensure we were happy with everything.We tried each one of his restaurant recommendations which were all excellent.Behind the villa is a vineyard- Flavio Busti-we had a wonderful time tasting his wines.The villa is ideally situated, don't miss Assisi, which is stunning.We would recommend Casa Fontanelle to anyone.
