We agree wholeheartedly with all the positive comments other reviewers have written. Stefania and Riccardo are indeed extremely friendly and helpful, the flat is spotlessly clean, light and comfortable and we were welcomed with a generously filled fridge. The bakery, a few steps away next door, is not only useful but also mouth-watering and opens at 7.30 am. The building feels very secure as indeed does the nearby area. The centro storico is less than a ten minute walk away and Verona is of course a wonderful city, oozing history and culture. We stayed the third week of October, enjoyed sunshine every day, and made day-trips to Venice, Mantua, Padua, Cremona and Lake Garda, so being close to the station was of great benefit. On our return in the evenings we felt we were coming home. Highly recommended!

From the very beginning, Stefania and Riccardo were the perfect hosts and the Grattacielo Suite the perfect place to stay in Verona. As a frequent traveler who often stays long-term in one location, I am very particular about my apartments. Stefania and Riccardo went out of their way to ensure that my time in Verona was trouble free and the best possible. This included: meeting me upon arrival, stocking the refrigerator with starter goodies for breakfast and snacks, making sure I knew my way around the city, and even helping me to plan a weekend at beautiful Lago di Garda nearby. The building is secure, with an elevator, excellent air-conditioning (which I definitely needed), and grocery shopping and services nearby. About a 20 minute walk to the Arena di Verona, and a 10 minute walk to the Porto Nuova train station, the Grattacielo Suite is the perfect place to stay in Verona. If only every apartment could be owned and cared for by Riccardo and Stefania!

The description of this excellent appartment in Verona was very accurate and my wife and I were delighted with everything it had to offer both in terms of location and in terms of facilities.
The appartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained and it was located very close to the train station and within ten minutes walking distance of the city centre.
The owners, Riccardo and Stefannia were very helpful indeed and were willing to help make our time in Verona as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their customer service can only be described as excellent.
This property was ideal for us as we divided our time between the beautiful city of Verona and the surrounding countryside.

We stayed at Stefania & Riccardo's wonderfully appointed apartment for a long weekend and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Our plane was delayed and then diverted to Venice, which meant that we arrived at nearly 1am. Riccardo was there to greet us and had been extremely helpful over the phone to make sure that we were able to get transport at that late hour, even offering to drive to Venice airport if we were truly stuck! He gave us every piece of info we could wish for during our stay. The flat itself is in pristine condition and fitted out to very high specifications. They really have thought of everything. For GBP 100 per night for central Verona accommodation in high season you will either get a run-of-the-mill three/four-star hotel if you are very lucky, or you get a five-star, unique apartment with bags of character and the privilege of being looked after by this amazing, enthusiastic, kind Veronese couple...Simples. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

We were thrilled with this apartment. It is just as impressive as the photos suggest! Just 5 minutes walk from the main train station (which we used for day trips to Lake Garda and Venice) and equally close to the city centre, it was ideally located.

We stayed for 3 nights and the apartment had everything we wanted. The interior is sleek and modern, and very recently decorated. The bed is comfortable, with a nice ensuite, well-equipped kitchen, ample storage space, air conditioning and television. Wireless internet is also provided which was a real bonus when researching train timetables and restaurant reviews etc.

The apartment was immaculately clean and the hosts, Riccardo and Stefania, kindly stocked the fridge for us on our arrival - very thoughtful. They recommended places to visit and were both excellent hosts. I really would highly recommend the apartment!

For what it's worth, our favourite restaurant was Osteria de Sottoriva - very authentic and rustic.

It was amazing apartment for us. We spend in Verona 2 days, but to rent apartment like this it was 100 times better than a hotel. Everything was there we need, and even more.
There was TV, fridge, kitchener. Every stufs were clean. We very liked black/white interior, also in the bath the same interior and of course the hot water. We got breaksfast for two days - coffe, tea, yogurts, cakes, fruits, milk to coffe, mineral water and coca-cola. And in the first floor of the building there was a bakery, so you could bay fresh cakes every morning.
There is very good location of this apartment. Only 5 minutes by foot you can reach romane amphitheater, stores and all bar's, caffe's, pizzas. The place of apartment was enought calm, because in the night you can close the blinds.
And the owner's of apartment were very lovely people! Stefania even tooked us to the airport with her car early in the morning. She was very kind and amways smiling. So we really enjoyed the apartment and the trip to Verona, and hope to go there sometime!
