We stayed for one month (March) in Unit 2. It was a wonderful holiday for our family with two small kids (2 and 5).

The pictures perfectly reflect how the villa looks like inside and outside. Sometimes advertisement photos tend to be more glamorous then reality, but not in this case!! The apartment is full of light, cosy, modern, stylish and the views are magnificent. I would add that a view from the living room window was sometimes worth staying at home and not going anywhere ;)

There was everything we needed in the property, even the gas heater which is necessary for the early spring. The apartment was neat and clean, and an exceptionally friendly maid helped us to tidy up during our stay for a good price. The owner helped us with each tiny problem and question we had.

The kids didn't swim in the pool (too cold in March), but we enjoyed it. The same with the sea: clean transparent water and smooth sand (Mellieha bay beach, five minutes drive).

There are plenty of shops with fresh vegetables and fruits, meat and fish in a five min walking distance. On the main street which is close to the villa you can find playgrounds for kids, cafes, bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, car hire and English courses. Nearby there is also a brand new area for family sports with a running/jogging trek, stadium for playing football and basketball and some other facilities.

Mellieha is definately a small, sweet and quiet village. If you want to get somewhere you can easily take a bus so car hire is not really necessary. The places we highly recommend to visit: Parish church of Mellieha, St. Agatha's tower (the Red Tower), Selmun castle, island of Gozo, Chapel of Immaculate conception - mostly for breathtaking views; the Popeye village and Ta' Qali BOV adventure park - for entertaining kids.

If we have a chance we will undoubtedly return to this villa for a holiday.

We stayed with 16 people in the whole building and enjoyed our time there. The location of the Villa, the pool, the flats we're great and comfortable. Nice and helpful manager. Can recommend this house to everyone, as well for bigger groups. Thanks for the good place.

We (3 adults with 3 kids of 7 and 4 years) enjoyed our 2 weeks holiday at Villa Margherita very much. The flaat No. 2 is large and really in details colourconcept design well refurnished. So we felt very confortable from the first minute.
The owners live upstairs and they are very friendly and helpful.
For the kids it was like that: Direct after breakfast at the own seperate terrace just some steps down and jump in the pool. - Every day -
After that part of the day we are forced to do, we decided to explore the island by rental car. And there was a lot to see...
We although tried the different beaches, Mellieha Bay (just 5 min drive) was perfect for the kids (sandy and smooth) and Golden Bay (sandy but a bit more rough).
Mellieha is in the evening nice to see - especially the area around the church with all the lights and some bars and restaurants (10 min walk).
We have to come back again because the kids told us to do so and there are some places where we would like to spend more time (Valletta, Mdina, Rabat,...)

Everything according to the advert. Spacious apartment, very good location. Everything that You need to spend nice holidays in Malta!

Amazing holiday: the villa had just been refurbished to very high standard and felt as comfortable as being at home, it was very clean, nothing was missing. The owners were very friendly and helpful, checking on us without being interfering, and making sure all was ok. They were very helpful with any request we had. The pool was just great: not a big one, but perfect to relax and cool down during the hottest hours, it was good both for adults and children; my 2-year-old loved it.
Location is good: close to a supermarket, a grocery shop, a bakery, and some restaurants, and walking distance from the high street. It was also a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop, and the local beach (clean and well looked after) is only a few minutes away by bus. A car was not needed, because everything was so close by.
We are considering coming back, we had a great time, and we have to thank Margaret and her husband for helping us having a holiday to remember.

We had a wonderful holiday in what I can only describe as a first class apartment. Our first visit to Malta and we fell in love with it. Lovely area and beaches with restaurants within an easy stroll. Very easy to travel around if you do not wish to hire a car as the bus service is excellent, Thankyou Margaret will definatley come to see you again (and Tony),

Me and my friends stayed at the villa for a week and we loved it!
The apartment is really nice, modern and clean. The beach is only few minutes by bus and buses are regular.
The village of Mellieha is really cute and has loads of nice restaurants.
Margaret is also very nice and helpul.
I have nothing negative negative to say about your stay.

I will return!

Marvellous holiday home as we felt like at home. Spacious and spotless and large flat for a family with children.

Nice swimming-pool. Car park. Very convenient place to find shops in the local area.

Use of a car can be helpful to see and visit this beautiful island.
