My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. With its super-central location, it's really an ideal place from which to explore the stunning city of Annecy.

The apartment itself is housed in a four hundred year old building, full of character. The owners, Dominique and her husband, have renovated it to a very high standard. It's really got everything you'd want, including a great coffee machine! The apartment is located at the top of the building and you have to walk up three flights of stairs to get there, so it might not suit the very frail (we had our parents with us though, one of whom is in his seventies, and they managed it just fine). Dominique welcomed us on the first day: she gave us some tips of what to see, which restaurants to go too, and she also very kindly helped me get a weekly pass for the nearby car park. She couldn't have been nicer.

Annecy itself is a fantastic place. The views around the lake are perhaps the most beautiful i've seen. There's also lots of small interesting shops to browse if that's more your thing. We used it as a base for skiing in the aravis mountains. the great resort of La Clusaz is just 45 mins down the road by car. There's also a pretty frequent bus service from Annecy (33 euros for the "car plus ski" ticket, which includes your days ski pass).

Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a centrally located place to stay in Annecy.

L'appartement est très agréable, très propre et sa situation est exceptionnelle (vielle ville, lac...) ! C'est un appartement qui allie charme et confort.
Les propriétaires sont de plus très accueillants. Ils sont disponibles pour tous conseils (sorties, loisirs).

Nous y avons passé une très bonne semaine. Nous avons hâte d'y revenir. Nous vous le recommandons !
