Wonderful holidays, bright, clean and sunny place

“ We have been in a deep depression ever since returning from the beautiful shores, sunny weather and warm seas of Dubrovnik to cold, rainy weather. Our trip was great and we greatly appreciated the personal advice of Viktor; this was very helpful and much appreciated. The apartment “la Note Bleue” was great and perfect for our needs. Joanna found the mattress on the bed too hard, but that is a matter of personal preference. The flat was very clean, bright and sunny; the decor was fine. It had everything we needed for a 5-day stay, including proximity to supermarkets. The view from balcony was great; the crane was unavoidable and didn't bother us too much. (We became quite good friends with the operator in his cab). Being able to use the lift in the Kompass Hotel was very important - we imagine that the walk back up would get annoying after the first day. It was nice being so close to the beach, bars, restaurants and the sea, as well as close to places where we could book tours etc.The transfers to and from the airport were perfect. The taxi drivers were friendly and helpful and were not upset by late flight arrivals.The description on the web-site was accurate. The booking procedure was fine. Isabelle was very responsive to questions we asked prior to booking and arriving. Viktor was a great tour guide advisor and we greatly appreciated his personal interest in our trip. We were made to feel welcome and valued.hat's about it. We will be sure to pass on your information to friends and relatives looking for holidays in the Dubrovnik area. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday”.

Exceptional and truly spectacular view

My wife and I have only just returned from Dubrovnik where we stayed for one week at the 'La Note Blue' apartment in the Uvala Lapad bay. The apartment was exactly as described on the web site, exceptionally clean, decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard. It is very well equipped and the view from the terrace is truly spectacular. We found it unnecessary to hire a car as the public transport is really efficient and relatively cheap. It is only a short walk to the bus stop where the No. 6 takes you into Dubrovnik. There are some really good restaurants and bars nearby. Our favourite 'The More' restaurant is only a few hundred yards from the apartment. The food is great and it has a really great bar on the water front. The booking procedure and the transfer to and from the airport, which was arranged by Viktor, was smooth and without any hassle. We found Viktor most pleasant and helpful, he gave us some really good advice. We enjoyed our holiday so much that hope to return next year”

"Adorable apartment, in a tranquil setting."I absolutely adored La Note Bleue and would recommend it to anyone. The interior, was modern & chic, yet functional and cosy. The views hypnotic. Butterfly Services were extremely helpful, punctual, efficient and friendly. I would 100% re-book through them again. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.”

Very clean and user friendly

“From booking to picking up the keys it was all very easy, the apartment “La Note Bleue” was very clean and user friendly. The distance to the beach was a pleasant walk away, there quite a few steps though. Lots of bars and restaurants and the old town was close by too and really worth a visit, we would definatly go back for another visit. There was some building work going on opposite us during our visit which made for a lot of noise and dust but I m sure the next time we go that will be finished. Also the lobby was needing a good sweep out, but i think it was a public holiday for a few days so maybe the cleaner was off?”

A lovely stay

"We did have a lovely stay in Dubrovnik and especially in “La Note Bleue” apartment, which seemed ideally located for us. Everyone that we have shown photographs to is also very impressed. In terms of the weather, it is a shock to return here where it is rainy and yesterday the maximum temperatures was only +9 C. It is a shame we had to leave Dubrovnik so soon. Better than we expected

“We have had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in Dubrovnik. Nearly everything was better than we expected or could have hoped for though there were some “niggles” in relation to the apartment. Viktor and Isabelle were absolutely charming with a great sense of humour, and Viktor, in particular was most helpful at our arrival in advising on things to do and see. Following his instructions (they were more than just advice) ensured we did all the most worthwhile things. The transfer on both arrival and departure was impeccable. Dubrovnik is beautiful and we were fortunate to be at Lapad a 15-20 min bus ride from the main town. We found everyone helpful and friendly and their standard of English made life so much easier than visiting many other Mediterranean countries. The apartment – “Note Bleue” is spacious and well furnished – a more comfortable bed than we had in some luxury hotels, and a large sofa. The view is beautiful but having a view also means one has a significant climb to and from sea level. I strongly recommend Dubrovnik and following Viktor’s recommendations. The apartment is delightful and provided you have a REAL holiday and don’t mind a bit of exercise to and from sea without going through the hotel. Certainly we shall be visiting again.” Alastair

Perfect location, lovely decor

“La Note Bleue” is in fantastic location for bars & restaurants, especially being able to use the bottom entrance & Viktor advising us to use the lift down to the beach level at the Kompas hotel. Great views of the bay & also ideally located to travel around to other areas & the Old town. There was only the hob for cooking, which we mentioned on our arrival, the next day we were very impressed to find a brand new microwave & oven, so thank you again for organizing this. The apartment is very comfortable - very contemporary & lovely décor. The apartment its self was very clean. The information provided - description on website is very good, booking procedure, excellent, arrival and tourist information also very good. We had a fantastic time & would definitely like to return someday & of course would keep you in mind for our booking next time & recommend your accommodation to friends & family”. Jennifer, July 2011

Wonderful location, views and tastefully decorated

" A host of great kindness for this apartment perfect location outside the range of Dubrovnik. The view from the nice terrace where you can see the sea, the sunset. The apartment is well structured with its bay windows, very clean, comfortable room, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher). The bathroom is also very good for a couple. The bedroom also gives access to the terrace. The place is quiet day and night. The bus is ten minutes walk and takes you directly into the center of the old town, which is handy. You can also take advantage of the parking palces and unwind in the region. Everything is perfect, convenient, new, tastefully furnished. Definitely highly recommended. Barbara & Serge

" My wife and I had our wedding in Dubrovnik in august 2011. Rather than stay in a busy hotel we decided to book our own space for a more private stay. The La Note Bleue apartment provided us with everything we wanted, a large balcony with perfect sea views, a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and restaurants and a clean modern apartment with all you need. There are very good transport links to the old town with a short bus ride. What made our stay here even more enjoyable was the help and service of Butterfly services. Viktor and Isabelle spoiled us with a wedding gift and were available any time with all requests we made.Mark

Terrific place, service, people and country!

Modern, attractive condo 10 minutes from Dubrovnik with fabulous views, great beach and charming promenade/restaurants. Parking included but bus to town is nearby and so is supermarket. Isabel and Viktor manage Butterfly and provide exceptional service! (we have rented over 150 times thoughout the world and they are the tops!). Dubrovnik is fabulous but totally mobbed during the day! Go by 3 when the cruise ship visitors are exhausted/nearly gone. Croatia (visited 25 yrs ago), is now a very modern, cosmopolitan country, everyone speaks English, wwfi included - great place to travel! Butterfly will provide door to door transfer and some great half/full day excursions.
