OK house, noisy and bugs

The house, garden and swimmingpool are good yet a bit outdated. The location is good proximity to the beach but is also very close to the motorway which is audible at all times. Noisy from early morning to late afternoon.
When we stayed there (2 adults, 2 young children) we had bed bugs and eventhough the local doctor made the diagnosis the owners and the agency didn't want to do anything about it.
Overall I'd only stay here if you must be in Marina di Pietrasanta and no other property is available.
Risposta del proprietario: La Pineta has been sucessfully rented out for many seasons. We would like to underline that the gentleman who has written this review made no mention of traffic noise during his two week stay and mentioned the so called 'bed bugs' at 14.30 p.m. on the last day of his stay. We have photographic evidence of the state of the matresses and bedrooms, these were all immaculate.We had a 'bug' expert company come in and monitor the whole house with sophisticated equipment to draw into traps any form of insects that may have been in the house.Result ZERO , that is totally bug free environment.
We took this affermation very seriously, as we prize ourselves for management of houses in all aspects and wish all our customers to be satisfied and return Pietrasanta, we overlook 40 properties in the area and have a 4 out of 5 repeat clientele.
What we found puzzling was why the person who is writing the review notified us of these comments a few hours before leaving the house (hence giving us no possibility to verify or rectify any possible question). Once returned home the client asked for a refund, which was refused by the owner as there were absolutely no grounds to justify this.
There is some 'background' traffic noise in high season, depending on wind direction and time of day, partially blocked out by the vegetation in the park style grounds that is in no way disturbing and the location is pointed out in the detailed description of the house. We have had families come back to this villa year after year as it is a great base, half way between the old town and the seaside with the added luxury of a pool in rental accommodation at a very competitive price for this resort.
