We booked this Villa because it looked outstanding and very spacious from the website and it certainly didn't disappoint as it was absolutely amazing! The villa was very bright, rooms were open plan and the large panel windows in every room made it feel very open. The salt water pool was lovely and the kids were never out of it! The views were fantastic and the two leveled balconies were very large and relaxing. The bathrooms were lovely each with amazing showers, and a large Spa bath including its own TV! The 3D TV was brilliant and the kids enjoyed watching the DVD's that were provided although we didn't really spend much time watching TV as spent most evenings just relaxing by the poolside. The local beach was just a 10min walk and when we visited it was completely empty and very clean.

We arrive late Sunday so all the shops were closed however the owners catered for us by providing a very generous welcome pack including bread, eggs, cheese, bacon, yogurts, wine, lager, pasta, pate, cakes and fruit juice just to name a few. There was a Seafood restaurant across the road and the owners said we could order and they would deliver the food to our Villa. We ordered on our first evening and had it delivered, the food was lovely and very reasonable.

We normally holiday in the South of Spain as the weather is guaranteed so we were a little cautious about the weather in the North however we had a great week averaging at 25 - 30 degrees. We were due to leave a week later however we were having such a great time we decided to extend our stay for a further 3 days for which the owners were extremely accommodating. We will definitely be booking again next year! Thanks again Patricia

Me and my family were lucky enough to stay at this Villa for two weeks. It was the first time my family had travelled to Spain so we were very unsure of what to expect. On arrival the house is absolutely breathe taking. It is a modern day castle, with an open plan living area which leads out to the pool, furthermore the glass panelling which captures the amazing views. The views can also be seen from the second floor balcony and the roof balcony.
The pool is in perfect direction of the sun yet there are shaded areas where we shared many family dinners and drinks. Each bathroom is amazing with showers that massage all over, and a spabath and television in one bathroom. Catro Faros is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach or 15 minute walk into town which hosts many restaurants and bars but to be honest we didnt leave the villa for most of the holiday as it honestly had everything we needed.
I dont see our family ever fidning a holiday destination better then this one therefore we will be sure of making a habbit of booking Catro Faros each year.

Our Stay at Catro Faros, Galicia



This year we decided to have our friends reunion in Galicia last April. After looking at several options, we decided to go for which ended up being the best choice, Catro Faros, an amazing five bedroom villa located on the coast.



Galicia is very accessible by air, as it has four airports near by (Vigo, Santiago, A Coruna and O Porto) After hiring a car we headed to the Rias Baixas where the villa is located.



The villa is in an exceptional spot, on the tip of a mountain, overlooking the valley with an exceptional 360 degrees view to the open Atlantic Ocean. The name of the villa, "Catro Faros" relates to "Four light houses", at night you can see four different light houses lighting up ahead of you.



The house is very modern and of an exquisite design. All little details have been looked after from the owners, who showed a lot of care for our well-being during our stay.



At our arrival we were very satisfied to see how the pictures we found on the Internet matched completely with the status of the house, was very well maintained and properly cleaned. The bedrooms are very spacious, and counted with all the facilities needed for our comfort. The common areas are very well designed, we could enjoy breakfast from the middle terrace, the kids could enjoy the pool in the ground floor and we could all see the sunset from the upper terrace, overlooking the four Light houses and the sun disappearing in the ocean in front of us. We know also that the rain is a very characteristic feature of Galicia, and for those days we could enjoy the rain looking at it from the big glass that surrounds the house, whilst seating on the living room, having a glass of wine with the company of the fire place that is available.

The villa is in a great spot to move around Galicia, very close to Portonovo, Sanxenxo, Cambados, Combarro and Santiago to name some, made it very easy for us to visit all these areas within a relative small distance. There are several restaurants nearby, where we definitely enjoyed the Galician gastronomy and its recognized wine. For sure we will go back to Catro faros and will recommend it with high marks!
