Neu ausgestattetes Apartment in Neubau, Mirabellgarten zu Fuß erreichbar, sehr gut ausgestattetes Bad, Wohnzimmer, Küche, Schlafzimmer ok. Geeignet für Familie mit 1-2 Kindern. Ruhige Lage (derzeit nur Wohnzimmer wegen Umleitung etwas beeinträchtigt). Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung. Betreuung ebenfalls.
Sauber und gepflegt, wifi wird noch eingebaut.

Für 9 Übernachtungen gebucht, war dieses Appartement mit seiner zentralen Lage eine gute Basis zur Erkundung von Salzburg.
Einen PKW braucht mah sicherlich nicht.
Sehr angenehm war das Abholen vom Flughafen durch den Vermieter mit einer persönlichen Einführung in die Gegebenheiten des Appartements.
Die Einrichtung war wahrlich komplett einschließlich Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Das Küchenequipement war komplett und auch qualitativ gut.
Hinnehmen muss mein bei der zentralen Lage und der vielbefahreren Hauptstraße, an welcher das Appartement liegt, einen erheblichen Verkehrslärm bei geöffnetem Fenster. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man hiervon so gut wie nichts.

Alles in Allem eine gute Wah.

My family of 4 definitely recommends this apartment! It has all you could want, and the location can't be beat. Everything is an easy walk from the apartment, especially the market, ATM machine, and restaurants. The safe parking garage inside the mountain is a 2 minute walk away. We had no problems during our entire 4 night stay.

Yes, it can get noisy with the traffic if the windows are open, but when they are closed it is very peaceful. The neighborhood is great. The owner is very quick with email replies, and was very helpful prior and during our stay!

If you want more space than a hotel room and save a lot of money...this apartment may be for you! I do not think you will have any regrets.

Met by two managers at the apartment on the day of arrival and given a brief orientation. Apartment is smaller than what I had imagined based on the photos. For two people it would be comfortable, but for four it was cramped. A 5 minute walk would take you to the pedestrian shopping area in the new town part of Salzburg. Supermarket downstairs is very convenient for buying snacks and water etc.The neighborhood is safe but can be noisy even late at night with the windows closed. I think there are bars in the area and you can often hear people shouting at night who sounded drunk. In addition, there is also quite a bit of noise from street traffic. So light sleepers be aware. Salzburg can be be very expensive, and overall this place is still a good value.

The most impressive aspect of this apartment is Walter. He communicated well prior to arrival and was extremely helpful after we arrived. His English was excellent and his enthusiasm for Salzburg was catching. Walter picked us at the train station, helped with finding trains from Venice to Salzburg and recommended things to do in Salzburg. Salzburg is a wonderful city. Please visit the fortress and then take the walk to the beer garden. Walter recommended this and we did not regret taking his recommendation. We also recommend Maria's Bicycle Tours, a unique bike tour of the Sound of Music sites. Find the tour at the Mirabell gardens. It was a lovely way to visit Salzburg and its outskirts. Just remember to pack an umbrella for Salzburg's weather (at least in the summer) has rain showers that are short lived, but real.

The apartment layout was fantastic and was supplied with great gadgets including a remarkable shower with multiple shower heads -- a real treat. The beds were comfortable, and a super market is located just below. It is located less than a 15 minute walk from the old town.

Despite all of these positives, we cannot give it a 5 star because it was very noisy. Sleeping was a struggle as a major street is located right beneath the large glass windows. In addition, we were woken up by yelling of neighbors fighting (something the owners cannot control). If the apartment had air conditioning, we would have been able to close the windows, but Salzburg was hot and experiencing 87 degree heat.
Overall, the experience was good and Walter had the best communication skills of all the owners we rented from in Europe. (We were on an 8 week vacation).
