Dieses kleine Ferienhaus (Teil eines renovierten Mas) ist wirklich wunderschön. Es liegt in der Nähe des Klosters St. Paul de Mausole - für uns die schönste Gegend in St. Remy. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet auch auf kleinem Raum alles Notwendige. Vom wunderbaren Bett mit erlesener Bettwäsche hat man einen phantastischen Blick in den Garten und die Alpillen. Es ist so schön, im Frühjahr die ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen in einer solch traumhaften Umgebung zu genießen. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort gehen - so am Mittwoch, wenn Markttag ist. Aber auch weitere Spaziergänge in die typisch provencalische Landschaft sind vom Haus aus gut möglich. Das Haus ist mit allen wichtigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Wenn man länger als eine Woche dort verbringt, erfolgt eine Reinigung sowie ein Handtuchwechsel. Die liebenswerte Vermieterin ist sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Mercie!

Ein schönes kleines Anbau-Häuschen in einem gepflegten, üppigen Garten. Auch das Häuschen selber ist sauber und gepflegt. Von dort ist man zu Fuß in einer Viertelstunde in St. Remy de la Provence (der Rückweg dauert ein wenig länger, da es bergauf geht!) Man landet in einer kleinen Idylle und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Vermieterin, die ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück wohnt, ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, wenn man Fragen hat oder Informationen möchte. Ideal für 2 Personen, die den Ort St. Remy mögen und darüber hinaus die Provence erkunden wollen. Eigentlich würden wir gerne gar nichts schreiben, um dies als Geheimtipp für uns zu behalten, aber damit wird man diesem Häuschen und der Vermieterin nicht gerecht.

Our stay at this gorgeous home just outside the city center of St. Remy was simply wonderful. The owner, Juliette, is very helpful and accommodating. The home is very comfortable and furnished with everything needed to have meals in if you want, relax at the private pool, spend a quite evening after a day of hiking, or connect with friends and family via WI-FI. We did not have a car and this location is an easy walk to the city center and plenty of great hiking trails - the best being the hike through Les Alpilles to Les Baux. There is a bike rental shop in the city if you want to move around by bike. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and the Wednesday market is a treat not to be missed - with all the colors, tastes, scents and charm of Provence. Will definitely choose this as a home base for future visits.

A beautifully decorated home in Provencal style complete with olive trees in the garden next to a swimming pool. This home, away from home, is modern and bright & centrally located. The host is most pleasant and very helpful to ensure our stay was perfect! She was so accomodating in many ways and made us feel most welcomed. We would definitely return to this accommodation and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a cozy place to explore this incredible area!

We loved our stay here. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed having dinner at night in the lovely and fragrant garden. Juliette is very welcoming and helpful. Everything that you need is provided.... a compact but well equipped kitchen, dining table with four chairs, outdoor furniture, a lovely bath on the ground floor and an extremely comfortable, large bed and living room area upstairs. The location is very convenient to town, an easy walk. Do not miss the lively Wednesday market. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have many thanks to Juliette for opening her lovely home to us. What also impressed us was how quickly Julliette responded to our last minute inquiry and met every need during our stay. We enthusiastically recommend this vacation rental.

Wie had a nice week near the beautiful Saint-Remy in the very comfortable and well decorated house. There is a very calm atmosphere and one can enjoy the terasse and the pool. From the window in the first floor one has a beautiful view to the Alpilles. It is possible to have a short walk to Glanum and also to walk down to Saint-Remy.

À quelques pas du centre de Saint Rémy, ce duplex bien équipé est d'une remarquable qualité. L'accueil est chaleureux et la propriétaire reste disponible tout en sachant se montrer très discrète. La décoration intérieure est soignée et rien ne manque pour un séjour confortable. L'environnement est superbe (Jardin fleuri et grande piscine) et il permet de profiter du calme des lieux pour se reposer. Les possibilités de sorties culturelles (Avignon, Arles, St Rémy, Les Baux-de-Provence, etc...), les nombreux festivals et les randonnées (Lac des Peiroou, les Alpilles..) ne manquent pas. N’oubliez pas les marchés provençaux de St Rémy et la visite du Monastère Saint-Paul où Van Gogh peignit de nombreuses toiles. Nous n'avons eu aucun regret sauf... celui de partir en fin de séjour.

Petite maison pleine de charme à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur , beau jardin avec piscine , lieu calme est très bien situé près des chemins et de la nature autant que de la ville... Acceuil du même niveau... on y retournera !
