We spent two glorious weeks in this ideal holiday home in the pretty Provencal town of Bedoin. The house is well equipped with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living/dining room, fridge freezer, cooker, washing machine etc. All the things that make for an easy time. It is comfortably furnished and easy to live in. As an added bonus there is a TV and Wi-Fi in the house.
Our weather was excellent so we spent most of the time outside enjoying the warm sunshine. The garden is ideal as it is possible to have sun or shade at any time of day. As well as a slide and swings for the children there is a ping pong table and a good size barbeque which was used almost every day. The star attraction, however, was the pool. It is a perfect size for a family as it is safe for children being deep enough to swim in but shallow enough that an adult or teenager can stand in it safely. It was used every day and cleaned regularly. Although there are other houses nearby, the situation was quiet and peaceful which made for a relaxing holiday.
Perhaps one of the best features of this house is its situation. It about two minutes walk to the centre of the town with all its shops, cafes and restaurants. The local supermarket is well stocked and there are excellent bakeries and fruit shops as well as a good butcher shop. The market on Mondays is huge and gets very busy with visitors from all around. It's well worth getting up early to make the most of it.
Of course the area is an attraction for cyclists being at the foot of Le Mont Ventoux and the town is often full of Lycra clad bodies.
In summary, this a perfect holiday home for a family and represents great value for money. We have already booked up to go back next year.
